One of the things that I have yet to see is anything on off-road gps navigation, emergency communications, etc. so what is the GPS of choice? Emergency radio?

you know with Netflix you can download movies to your phone in advance? So I'm guessing you can do the same with this carplay by using the SD slot guess to add your pictures or songs

Does this work in conjunction with Heigh10 unit or is that redundant with functionality on that unit? Feels like what you showed would be awesome on a 10 inch screen.
Did your Superior Tech have issues or were you looking for more capability. I was about to purchase ST unit but should I get this one instead? I don’t need video streaming. Just Apple car play.
Great initial impression review of this. I have a 2022 Gladiator Rubicon. Would I be able to contact this via the USB in the center console? My goal would be to use this without having the box viewable. Also, where do you store yours? TIA. Beautiful Jeep!
This is SUPER cool… two questions: 1 do they make this for Apple? And 2 can I put the bigger screen in my Gladiator as I only have the base small scren

its better to get the CarlinKIt AI... it has a SIm card tray and cellular modem built in. you can avoid the "have to connect to your device " part of this. it way better. just boots up accesses the cell network and off you go. you can also pop in and out of car play with no issues. in regards to netflix and such.
@@DIRTROADCRED it’s the new one carlinkit came out with. For instance I have it all mounted behind the dash running off the front ports from the backside. Running Netflix, Plex, Amazon prime, teams, Facebook, and half a dozen others. All running off its own sim on 4g. Running a hot spot and moving between CarPlay and anything else is very easy. Was just filming a how to install it all in the next day or so.
How did you get the forward camera icon to pop up instead of cargo camera using tazer ? And does this forward camera icon work with z automotive front camera ? or only the cargo camera icon work with z automotive camera?
why cant you just connect your phone directly? then you could play youtube directly off your phone onto the display? i'm new to jeeps so this question maybe obvious to some.

If u download all the movies from your drive way u can store what u want and then watch it while on the road without internet

Yes you can connect it to the usb (usb2) in your center console

Yes works for apple, you can upgrade to the 8.4 just make sure you get the unlock pin from the seller
