Math is my weakness too. Math was a struggle during school days.

I was on Jeopardy, and this is one of the better trivia tests I've seen on TH-cam. It was challenging without being too difficult, and a lot of fun. Well done!

I think that the one that makes you wanna find more information about the quiz(trivia) is unique & enjoyable. This quiz may be the one, but some questions(like harry potter) were silly.
VENUS?!!....ROCK is molten on Mercury!
Thanks for checking on my video. Venus is hotter because of the trapped heat which it absorbs from the sun. This is because it has very thick atmosphere. Mercury on the other hand has very thin atmosphere that is why the heat is being reflected back into space. The maximum temperature Mercury has is 800 °F while Venus reaches 863 °F.

47/50 which included a few gueestimates. One of the misses was on the one-half of one-quarter of the square root of Pi, or whatever it was. Needed minutes not seconds on that one....

45/50 my biggest problem as a non native speaker was to read the questions fast enough.

It is better to be faster than slower.
Slow ones frustrate many of us, while the fast one can always be paused for unlimited time. I hate trying to judge how far to skip over on the slow ones and spending as much time messing them up!
About 15 of these I had to hit the space bar to pause it and re-read the question or think longer about the answer. MUCH easier.
Hitting the pause button is ok as long as one does not then do Internet searches for the correct answer. !, too, got 45/50, and those i missed had nothing to do with my reading speed. I just didn't know. A couple more I really didn't know with any measure of certainty, but just guessed correctly.

This is hard when English is not your first language. There was quite a few questions were I known answers in my language but have no clue how they translate into English, Science related ones were the worse to get correctly. Still somehow managed to get 42 right. Still had a blast and was educated.lol

Had at least 12wrong. Got depressed. Actually answered some I never knew..don't do much movies or American celebs, bit of a mystery. Not really General Knowledge. You will never need these except planets etc, not celebs in real life choices.. Good luck.

I always do my best, except when I was playing chess against my kids. I would still do moves they had to think about, but I wouldn't destroy them like the way I would try to destroy other chess players and crush egos.
My kids got good at chess with my 7 year old daughter beating an experienced player I knew who was my age. And he didn't let himself lose, he played to win. I think he started the game not playing seriously but realized too late my daughter was better than he thought a little kid would be. I was sooooo proud of her.

What do you use to create this kind of quiz? I am hoping to do something like this for my class. Would like to know what sound effects you chose too! TIA
I use Photoshop to create the slides then put them all together through Adobe Premiere where I insert some animations. Sometimes, I create my own GIFs through Photoshop. For music, TH-cam Audio Library. For sound effects, there are free ones in ZapSplat.com. For free pictures, Pixabay.com

In school we were given a test and told "Read ALL the questions first, then answer and turn it in". We were given just FIVE minutes!
After 'answering' 49 questions, random much like this one, Number 50 said "Now rearrange the letters "N - O - D - E" into what you are and skip the answers to the first 49 questions".
That is how we were to be "DONE" in 5 minutes, IF we listened and just READ all 50.

So i still got it right
I am not sure the hemisphere and equator have something to do of when the earth is closest to sun. According to scientists though, there will come a time when earth will be closest to sun in March but that is yet to happen in a few thousand years.
No, I don't think the question is referring to the tilt of the earth. The orbit around the sun is slightly elliptical so there is a point of the orbit when we are closest (perihelion) and when we are furthest away (aphelion) regardless of hemisphere.

Thanks for checking on the video. You're talking about the movie where Dorothy's slippers were shiny red. However, the question asks for the color based on the book where it is silver. According to MGM, they changed the color in the movie because red would register better on screen than silver. At that time, colored movies had just been introduced.
