Is this a natural touch for you or would you have any exercises you could recommend to unsophisticated players like me with only two settings (soft/loud)? Thank you!!

Just play by feeling. The harder you hit those keys, the more resonance on the strings. Really, it’s all about feeling the song and adding expression.
