The one actually Looks like it has the constant torque without dips and tons of detail. God I wish they would use less plastic and have a classy look to them. All they have to do is hide the plastic more that's it.
I had both. And no, there isn't. The new V2 base basically has less damping applied from the factory, so it feels a little smoother. Other than that it is virtually identical. Most reviewers are just reading all the bulletpoints from Moza's website, without ever having checked the V1 and V2 side by side for proper comparison. Save your money if you don't need the front mounting capabilities, the V1 is great! To be completely honest, I even prefer the look of the golden accent on the V1s shaft over the plain boring black Moza's used on the V2s. :)
Hi. Im trying to find the length of the R16 of just that part that would sit on the table to the very rear of the unit. IE from the front of the flat base portion, to the furthest most rear point. Just trying to figure out how much adjustment my rig and integrated monitor would require to take it. I can find various full length dimensions but not the above measurement im after. Would you be able to help with this? Thanks.
I like your gloves. Can you post a link where i can get them, please. Great gear this wheel. Definately a wet dream for every sim racer. My only concern is safety while i have my fingers in the wheel. If 16 Nm decides to turn, my thumbs are off. Maybe you could do a video on its safety features once.
Thanks, these are the ones that I am using: www.sparco-official.com/en/hypergrip.html Indeed it is. As for the safety, since I have been driving the old R16 without the safety stop for quite some time, I literally never had a situation in which I would consider grabbing their eStop button because simply I managed to hold the wheel without a problem. I also crashed in this race couple of times (since I haven't been driving lately and the AI is so bad in F1 2022), but the wheel didn't even budge.
Because I'm a PS5 player is the only reason I didn't buy this Moza R16. If it was compatible without an aftermarket adapter, this would have been my first choice. Hopefully, one day, Moza and Playstation will work together. If they do, I'm upgrading to this R16.
Good review dude. But you can’t really test a base like this on a F1 game. The FFB in these games is terrible. Assetto corsa or, r factor. Would give you a much better view of what this base is capable of. 👍🏻👍🏻
@@TheInsaiyan My old CSL DD was direct drive. Never owned belt driven. I have sold the Moza R16 and bought a Fanatec Clubsport DD+, about the same torque but night and day in performance.
They now just need to release one, which is boxed and pitch black. it can be big as long as the design is boxed and simple and doesnt overheat like the r9

hello ,may i know if the CRP pedal is fit to playseat f1 ultimate without any drilling?
I have the r16 V1 is there enough difference in the quality of the feedback to make me swap to the v2?

The truck wheel and accessories are awesome
Reviewing that shortly 😉
Besides torque, are there much differences that affect driving performance between R12 and R16?

The FSR is a completely different wheel then the GS wheel in feel and it's lightweight.
Is compatible with es wheel?
the wheels that are compatible can be seen on their website.
It is compatible with the ES V2. I use one on mine

I bought this bundle 2 weeks ago.
All I can say is I miss my CSL DD.
I was £1800 better off, and 3.2 seconds quicker on Nords.
Obviously because you don’t know what you’re doing 😂
Old comment. But comming from a belt driven wheel to a DD wheel you will always be slower until you get used to the feedback. Its normal
