- For night work, we need a flashlight that is very bright and can be used for a long time. There are 2 reasons behind this project. The first reason is custom build, I can get a flashlight super bight as I want. The second reason is price, I think by making it this way it is cheaper that buy new flashlight for this battery.

All the lights had their own control features built in? I noticed some lights didn't fully light up only after you clicked it a few times? BTW great 👍 job. You made a serious light that stryopyro would be proud of!!!

eu fiz uma com aquelas led de farol de moto... tem tres modo, alto, baixo e strobo. 2 unidade fora 80 reias. fiz 2 lanterna, cada lanterna com um farol. fico muito forte. a bateria 20v. e economizei cerca de 800 reais, caso fosse compra uma da makita 18v ja pronta. usei uma bateria da vonder de 20v e ta fucncionado

Cool project! Definitely much cheaper than a bosh flashlight which in Poland costs over 100US$ Also You can adjust brightness by adding more lamps to the top pipe where the two are mounted. Good!

Mine last about 3.5 hours at full charged with 48 watts led light powered makita 18v 6.0ah battery

cleanest way is using a old powertool, reusing the factory baterry conection. other way is just with wires xD

Hi. Thanks for the idea. But what about overvoltage? These lights are for a car, so, maximum of ~15V and 18V batteries provides ~21V when fully charged. How does these spotlights cope with it?
Most off those type lights are 12-24v sense they can be for more heavy machinery vehicles that uses 24v in there electrical. So 21 peek voltage should be safe.

Только штука в том, что для фонариков используют другой тип батарей. Для электро инструмента используют аккумуляторы с высокой токоотдачей, как мне объясняли. В фонарике данный аккумулятор очень быстро выходит из строя.
