Speaking as a consumer, I was with Maxis for many years but I have found their service and pricing not be worth it anymore. I made the jump to U Mobile this January and I have to say that I have not been disappointed. Are they better than Maxis? In some areas yes, in some areas no. But overall experience is not any worse than what I experienced with Maxis and the price is easily 30% cheaper if not more
Good analysis gents, thank you. Will be interesting to see how it all shakes out. I got all taken in by the 5G hype and great roaming offer from Umobile and almost switched only to find they can’t support Apple Watch and basically only cover Penang at this point with 5G. A long way to go but of course not insurmountable

Thanks! U Mobile 5G currently rides on DNB network. Their 5G coverage should be nationwide including Klang Valley, just like other telcos with 5G.
U mobile is cheap because they not public listed … once they IPO will see the price increase.
As I know Umobile management level not easy to change.
