I just don't understand the card market these days. $45 for 20 cards is just ridiculous. I may have grown up in the junk wax era, but half of the fun was opening lots of packs. Few kids can afford $9 per pack for 5 cards.
it's not about the sport or finding your favorite players anymore with 8 million different parallels, inserts, multi- year "rookie" cards etc. it's just gambling for dorks.
He wasn't at "most places". though. At every "Wally world" ..they are almost 50 dollars.. Why lie about something so trivial? He goes as far blocking the price tag! I imagine he thinks that we are stupid. Or we've never visited the aforementioned establishment.

I bought a box yesterday and got the same two Julio Rodriguez cards in it. Also got a couple serial # parallels, one to 199, but nothing too good. It said 28 cards in the box, but 4 of the 7 packs had 5 cards, so I ended up with 32.
Too expensive, no hits, every card is scratched and or print lines. The x factors are cool, but the print lines make them worthless. 5 monsters, and 6 blasters deep, seth lugo blue sparkle is the best hit. Crazy to spend 500ish and get a 1.99$ card as the best hit. 👎🏻
I decided to stay away from that junk. My luck has come from Hanger's. Ive bought 6 so far and my hits have been a Machado jersey ric a 89 Josh Jung auro and my biggest hit a Cj Stroud auto.😳😮🤑🤑

Every Card box today is 40% overpriced, look at the returns. Unless it is a superstar under /25 with auto you are not getting SHIT :(

2024 Topps Chrome Blasters suck ass IMO..... I pre-ordered 10 boxes and haven't gotten squat! I'm done with this run. I'm waiting on Sapphire now.
