- Club race on Sydney Harbour in 18 to 20 knots with gusts of 25 knots.
We hit 23.6 knots and beat all of the Super fleet by 8 minutes.
The REO 7.7 is fitted out with the strong, light fixings Ropescrews, by TedTec.
Mat Belcher's Gold Medal winning 470 is also fitted with Ropescrews.

I designed her to be a weapon in a breeze and she is. Broad planing sections and big chines make her easy to control and the apparent wind is not too high downwind as we go so fast!
Very respect for your 2nd crew for his hard hike.
a beast of a boat... You're lucky to get to sail that, I'd love to try one day
Excellent music choice
Rocket ship. With that acceleration you almost need seatbelts!
Looks like a great boat and well sailed, so why are you racing against keel boats? Go take on the other sports boats…love to see some video of the capsize too.
I race against sports boats at state and national championships. There are no other sports boats racing on Sydney Harbour. This was the most appropriate competition I could find at the time.
@ fair enough
I sail on the Mumm 30 Foreign Affair

Whats wrong with the helmsman ? He's spelling his name in the wake. All over the place.
