BOBBY CALDWELL DIED OF THE SAME THING THAT ALMOST KILLED ME AND HAVE KILLED SOOOO MANY OTHERS (INCLUDING SUICIDE, AS EQUALLY AS TRAGIC) JOHNSON & JOHNSON MANUFACTURED FLUOROQUINALONE (SP?)
@@Cindy875There were a few people that were considered for Peter's replacement. Richard Page from Mr. Mister since he also played bass and was blonde like Cetera was who they really wanted, but Richard declined, he wanted to do his own music, he probably should've accepted the invitation since his career didn't go far. But Bobby Caldwell was also considered, but like Richard, he declined. I heard this from an interview from Bobby Caldwell somewhere, I don't remember where but somewhere on TH-cam.
One of my favorites.....its the kind of groove that makes you want to melt and run under the rug. So beautiful, so sensual, so Bobby, and Bobby is the only one who can do it right!
Hi Tessa! Nice to meet you. Actually this song was written by Jason Scheff, Bobby Caldwell and Chas Sanford Both Bobby and Jason recorded this fantastic song. I adore Jason and am partial to him, but Bobby is amazing in this performance
I'm almost as old as Bobby, and I especially enjoy when a young person, assuming it's you in the pic, becomes aware of Bobby Caldwell and likes his voice. I think he has one of the greatest voices ever. He has written and co-written so many great songs, and such an amazing voice. I am so happy for you that you became aware of him. You would love so many of his songs. Enjoy!
It's incredible that Bobby Caldwell's band plays the actual arrangement of this song, with while Chicago can't do the same in concerts...Jason has to conform himself with singing an acoustic version of his classic hit which was't bad at all on the hit parade...Sh---T!! I actually think the acoustic version is nice, but why Chicago can't show this song like they do with all others is beyond my understanding...
I saw Chicago in Sept. 1990, and this song was in their lineup at the time and they played it using the whole band at the time. A few yrs later it was done acousticly with Jason at the keyboard and Pankow on the bone.
bobby c. co-wrote this song with jason s. but nothing beats the original interpretation of course. i still prefer the jason scheff-Chicago version, NOM to sir bob.
That dude , Jason Scheff, was Chicago’s lead singer from 1985-2016. Singer, songwriter, bass guitar, Jason is one of the greatest talents on the planet!
This was just an absolute terrific rendition of this song. Jason Scheff also sings it very very well. But, for my taste, you do a better job with it live. And your arrangement is superior to the Chicago arrangement when done live. I was blown away.
Finally-the way this song is SUPPOSED to be sung! (Jason Scheff butchered it.) Bobby should have filled the vacant lead tenor spot when the inimitable PeterCetera left Chicago. (And if not him, then Mickey Thomas.)
Jason Scheff's falsetto couldn't do that either outside of the studio. Doesn't make Jason a poorer singer. Give Bobby's music a listen -you are only going to appreciate music in general a lot more than you do now.
I was in Firehouse Subs today and this song came on. I literally started singing it and couldn't care less of people were looking at me.
いつかこの曲が収録されたアルバムが出ると待ってましたが、
もう叶わないと思うと残念でならないです。
ご冥福をお祈りいたします。
R.I.P Bobby, We love you forever!
同じ思いです。
この曲は、Bobby verが好きです。
Excellent Bobby and Jason... :)
I have the urge to go back to 80's, cant explain why..thanks for the upload. God bless.

The man is so underrated.Yet so talented.
True. His compositions with other artists were a hit. Proves to show how beautiful his songs are
Dearest sweet Bobby, I miss you terribly 💔
The bass in this song is on point with the original studio version. Very good version.
RIP Bobby Caldwell March 14 2023
I love you so much bobby..this song gives me chill..goose bumps
Damn, he had the BEST pipes here! RIP to the MAN!
After Peter Cetera left Chicago, Bobby Caldwell was asked to join Chicago, but he declined. He certainly has great vocals and he can write.
Aaah …Idk that. Thanks for the information.
Foster wasn't sure about Jason Scheff was the right guy to replace Cetera. Foster wanted Bobby buy Lamm said Jason is THE GUY.
@@24theMoney have you read this somewhere? would like to get to know more about Jason’s takeover from cetera.

I would have liked that.

Lanette Suggs Jason Scheff’s version is equally excellent!
He was the best. I’m heartbroken 💔
RIP Bobby
Rest In Peace
So in love with this song

Are you related to Bobby? You share his last name.
자기만의 방식으로 멋지게 재해석해 부른 명곡이네요
Heart of Mine, Next Time I Fall, Stay With Me...Lots of connections to Chicago.
Bass player is so great here
love his voice...

thank you...yes it is me in that photo and i am not young anymore for 43 :)
One of the best I've ever heard and I played with a lot of them!
Bobby and Jason co- wrote this song ( heart of mine too). They are good friends and equally talented musicians. I do love Jason more though💕💕💕
Chas Stanford contributed to this beautiful song too
I also do love Jason's version more
This rendition of this song is great. This sounds better live than the recorded version by Chicago.
Goodbye Bobby
Peter (Cetera) e Bobby (Caldwell): due interpretazioni ugualmente eccellenti!
I felt so amaze☺
Wow that's awesome !
great job love it,
Wow...very much better than Jason doing the live version.
Nope. Jason’s just as good, if not better.
Every time I hear this song, I think of my dog. Because she’s the girl of the house!
Seriously, we call her “The Girl”. Because all of my other dogs are males!
Wow!

+JasonicaPR They can and have. It's currently just part of their "unplugged" set.

good tho
Bobby C. OH Yeah...
Happy Birthday to me.. lol
Great performance, this need more views!, maybe if you rename it without the .wmv and with the name of the singer.
does anyone have a concert version when they were younger???
Sounds like Jason Scheff
Peter Cetera, Bobby and Chicago are the best!
Agreed. cannot beat Cateras voice
Cetera didn't sing Chicago's version. Some dude named Jason Scheff did.
I heard those Scheffs are fantastic musicians!

I 2nd that.
Bobby Caldwell wrote the song.
@@Ron-cg2hf Co-wrote it with Jason and Chas Sanford.
No disrespect to Jason Scheff and Chicago, but this version is a little better, plays it in a real good key.
Agreed. I really like their version too. But this is a little more subtle and superior in my humble opinion
wow
Very nice. Terriffic singer!
I got my sensibility from him
Fakt dobrý :-)
1:00 ... and i know you could surely survive without me,... that's what i'm missing in this version, the head voice.
Finally-the way this song is SUPPOSED to be sung! (Jason Scheff butchered it.) Bobby should have filled the vacant lead tenor spot when the inimitable PeterCetera left Chicago. (And if not him, then Mickey Thomas.)
It's good but Jason scheff sings it better.
Woww
Err,,, i think chicago still the best singing this song
Sorry Jason, But Bobby Caldwell Perform Better This Song!!!
Disagree, they both are excellent.
great song by chicago but these guys dont have the right voice for the song
He cant even hit the high notes Nice try but no thank you ;)
Jason Scheff's falsetto couldn't do that either outside of the studio. Doesn't make Jason a poorer singer. Give Bobby's music a listen -you are only going to appreciate music in general a lot more than you do now.
Hes better than Scheff live. That's a fact.
