Tip for newbies: If you ask yourself which needle is high and which is low, remember the high speed needle is physically 'higher' than the low. That's how I remember.
Eh, those are not much more complicated than this. Just have a few more ports to clean out lol. I actually need to rebuild a carb on a 4 stroke weed eater for this season. Tired of it sitting. Might just put that rebuild on my other channel lol.

Toooony! what's good? lol. As you asked. flew that hubsan h109 earlier today, flies like the 501s with gps. Brushless, yes. but not much power, especially for a 300 size brushless quad. no drift issues, responsive to a t. just no power, lol.but then again, it's only $35 rtf, everything but the batteries for the transmitter. Awesome video.

Eh, that Rat Snake won't hurt anyone of adult size. The only reason I had to get rid of it was because of the little kiddos around here. Wasps, that is the main deal around here that we battle. And gnats. Gnats you say? yup. When you are flying and you swallow or inhale a couple hundred of those little suckers, you crash lmao.
Lmaooo!!! Ok, lol. city booooy!! Snakes, nope! wasp definetly not! gnats a nuisance but can deal. inhaling more than one, back inside. It would be a lose lose for me, lol. @@sire162 I'm going to have to do a fly-in down here just to force you to come down. I will have some buddies of mine find a couple Diamond Backs and some Copper Heads to bring over while people are flying. Oh yea, we have bobcats around here as well lmao.
I have been thinking about putting a 3.4 on this truck, but since it's not mine I have to resist lol. But it is supposed to be a great upgrade. Thanks for the comment! www.Rc-Help.com

Great video man! I’ve been having this issue when I start my 3.3 it just revs up right as I start it, and it won’t stop unless I shut it off. Clutch shoes look fine, and I the carb has been rebuilt.
Check the O-rings in the body of the engine block and on the carb body. Also replace your fuel line, you might have a small hole allowing air into the carb which causes a high idle. But also, a leaking front bearing or rear plate can also let in air. And finally, check the carb where the high speed needle goes in, these carb bodies are very easy to crack. Hope this helps.
Thanks. I’ll be trying these soon. It’s kinda strange that this happened, because I was running the truck a few months ago. Anyways thanks aging for the reply and the advice.
The O-Ring on the back plate can break because of heat causing air to get in. Also, what is your carb opening? have you tried backing the throttle screw all the way off? If closing it off all the way, then you definitely have an air leak somewhere. www.Rc-Help.com
Because I didn't have one. I did end up just putting a new carb on this engine though that I had laying around. It would have run fine, but like you said, no boot, no playing in dirt lol. www.Rc-Help.com
Hi Tony, Q; once the engine has been broken in,when you did the sleeve and piston swap,do you have to break in the engine again becouse of the swap? Or do you just run it as is? Im confused about that part cuz i siezed 2 3.3"s already...
If I open up an engine, I always run at least a 'half way' break in. That just means richen it up almost to factory default settings and run it easy for a tank or two. Then lean it out an hour or two and run another tank or two. Again, go easy. On the third tank I hit full throttle, but only for a second. At about the 5th tank, I should be leaned out pretty good and will start making hard pulls. When you say you seized two engines, what do you mean? When I hear seized I think locked up or welded together. What was the issue with the 3.3's? And it's my pleasure making these videos. I love doing this stuff. I have fun. www.Rc-Help.com
Thanks for the quick reply, Done deal! Nobody i dont think has said anything about a reatart on an old engine or what they do before letting her rip. Once again thanks for the info!much appreciated!

I wonder how mineral oil would work for initial lubrication of the parts.
Not sure, never tried it. I always just use bearing oil or WD.

Nothing beats OS 11K carburetor the Trx 2.5 3.3 carburetors. Are not very good it hit and miss with them.
OS definitely makes some fantastic Carb's. And Aluminum over injection molded is always better IMO. www.Rc-Help.com
