John Murphy you know that most of cryptos are forks of Bitcoin right ? Why is that supposed to be a problem when they allow innovation ?

If they managed to pull this off. They will become gods and messiahs to these 3billion+ people. These people are the untapped resource that the world set aside and rendered unfit for equal trade. They are used to sustain world economy. So whoever serves these people will gain wealth far greater than any wealth that ever was.
The model of financing the development of zencash is very trustable and reliable. IFully anonymous coins like zencash will be the future. Quantic computing hacking resistance will be anther important feature in the future that zencash should keep in the radar.

Nice chat and good video. Really liking the sound of this partnership. Loving your node to node encryption. Had a good read of your whitepaper and see an Android wallet is coming soon. Your project sounds quite similar to DeepOnion - they have mobile wallets coming and made transfers anonymous using the TOR network. The two whitepapers are comparable too. I am excited by both projects for slightly different reasons and of course some overlapping reasons too. I will be buying more ZenCash and Onions later today. Cheers

Everyone is using the TOR concept ...i.e. Verge is and it's trading sub .25 cents. ZenCash is cool but again a fork of a fork of a fork.

While I was researching the ZenCash project I found a lot of similarities with other privacy coins like DeepOnion, Zcash, XVG... so I completely agree with Crypto Kiddie here. There is nothing wrong with this btw. the more privacy coins -> the better. I personally find DeepOnion for a pretty unique project with their TOR integration and airdrop system + now it's a great time to buy, because of the crazy market bleed.
What I want to point out here is that you're good to go guys - as long as you invest in privacy coins :)

DAG & IOHK is the reason i hold ZenCash - Would love to see a way a Zen could sidechain with Cardano, even with the DAG.

I don't understand the fact that charles is working on Cardano and ethereum classic. I mean both are smart contract platform. And i believe some of the concepts will be similar in near future since IOHK is part of developing these projects. Also How long will IOHK will be behind cardano? I believe IOHK contract with cardano foundation is till 2020. What will be their role after that.
My understanding is that by 2020, Cardano will be released into the world with fully developed wings which it will use to soar to great heights. My two cents :)

Is IOHK giving away the Cardano coin abilities to all the other coins now?
Please note that investing in a crypto currency, is like investing in a company or stock in that company, I have noticed the massive fall in my stock value from $1.36 to $0.55 this does not surprise me if the lead developer intends to give away all the fundamentals to all other established coins.
Agreed, nothing is owed to the coin holder and there is no obligation towards them, buyer beware, fingers crossed for the future.
Having transferred 100% of my eth to etc on day 1 & mining ETC to help in my small capacity; I am upset that zencash is MONETARILY worth more than ETC on top of my compensations for mining being inferior to my expenses... still. If IOHK would airdrop coins from all of its future projects to ADA holders, that would be a great way to reward the community who helped drive ADA into the #5 spot on coinmarketcap

So the Cardano project is just a test coin for all the other coins.
Not sure why IOHK is extending on so many fronts, one needs to focus. Cardano and ADA have lots of work ahead of them...
Basically, Zen will fund work that will later be integrated into ADA and ETC.
It's beneficial to them. Cardano is implementing their treasury system way down the line. If ZenCash is able to develop and implement the treasury model based on IOHK's research then Cardano will be able to quickly adopt the same model. It's not like they're giving up working on other system's in Cardano by working with ZenCash. They're using the resources of having another entire cryptocurrency system building and coding up their ideas. If they were allocating precious resources that needed to be devoted to development of Cardano then they wouldn't have made the partnership. Cardano has many goals and they're going to take a long time to develop. This doesn't mean they're going to buckle down on a few ideas with their current resources. They're going to make as many moves as possible to maximize the amount of resources they have to take advantage of.
At first glance it might appear that way. However all these fronts as you put it are actually different parts that all lead back to the further development of Cardano and ADA. Each team focuses on a particular area.
I think this is good for Cardano since it minimizes the workload of IOHK. What IOHK does best is specifying complicated scholarship papers and translate it into sth engineers can read and build on. So IOHK specifies the Spectre paper and let Zencash team writes the codes saves the resources of IOHK team in developing the treasury model and hence speeds up the overall development. I see this as a very positive move :)

Pussystroker First of all, it's not for free. Zencash team paid IOHK to help them out in research for treasury and DAG system.
Second of all, it's mutually beneficial, cause when Zencash implements and test them, you can add them in Cardano.
If you listened to the interview you know that IOHK won't do all the work but it will be a common task to work on them, so it's not a waste of time by any means
