I love how we get to see the plants at each interval, not just as he shows us how to plant the seeds. I know that takes some planning ahead, and I appreciate it!
I've just found this video. How refreshing to find clear easy to follow instructions without all the unnecessary hype and music you get in other videos.
I love all of your videos. Such a wonderful voice to listen to, and always full of the necessary information! Thank you for every single one! They are so appreciated! (Your video's helped me all through the winter last year, and kept me inspired for spring! Looking forward to another informative winter!)
I have just subscribed to your channel. You titled your video how to grow yarrow from seed, and you actually have a step by step guide to growing yarrow. Before I found your video, I watched several and none were as helpful and thorough as yours. Thank you so much, and I'm looking forward to seeing more videos. May I ask, what zone are you in?
Hello, i am underway make a poject from Achillea. Do you know any information how long time between the germination and overolanting. How long time for be ready in a 13 cm pot? It is a school project. Thank you.
I have binged watched a lot of your videos, are you sowing the seeds indoors? When and how do you harden them off to go outside? Are you using grow lights? Please help? Very confused? New subscriber
Hi Gayle. Here in the UK I start my seeds in a spare room in my house in mid February near a south facing window with no grow lights. I transplant into pots mid March and move to my Greenhouse. I begin to harden off (leave them out in the day but bring in at night) end of April. I generally plant out at beginning of June when risk of frosts has gone. Hope this helps and keep safe.
@@LearnHow2 Thank you so much for the reply. I didn’t realize you could germinate seeds indoors without growlights or heat mats. Is there anyway you could share the process with us. I’m a visual learning and would appreciate further help if you’re able. Thanks so much for the help you’ve already given. It’s greatly appreciated.
The one thing that I see absent in mini seedling videos is the fact that once your seedlings get their true leaves they need to be fed regularly with a weak fertilizer like half strength fish emulsion
You skip the last part why when it goes to seed again all the seeds you get I guess I will show the video in the video do you remember how much seeds you put on that tray I gathered 10 pounds of seed today on Labor Day weekend on a Saturday at 2 o’clock in front of a military base Achilles would be proud of me😊

Thanks for the sub and kind comments! I am based in England. Keep safe.
I planted my yarrow in a pot with basic potting mix since September 2022 in FL and still hasnt bloomed now. Its just foliage, no flowers. Any tips?
The main reasons for not flowering are usually too much fertilizer or low light levels.
Are you putting these under lights?
No, I am not.
How long before i see them getting their first set of leaves?
They should germinate within 21 days.
Very well explained. Thankyou. Just need planting instructions ie how far apart.
If you pause the video at 19 seconds the seed packet gives planting distances. Good luck with your growing.

What month did you start yours in?
I started mine indoors mid February. Keep safe.
Does this have to be planted outside? I just want something I can grow in my apartment I don’t have a house to grow anything outside
I think it is too big to grow indoors. Keep safe.
@@LearnHow2 Thankyou
so calm ❤️
Thank you.
Morning,
If I wanted flowers by early to mid June for a wedding when do I need to start sowing?
Thank you
If you plant in spring they wont be ready for June. They would have to be planted the year before and cut the following year.
I love the idea of yarrow as wedding flowers!
Can I put the seed in the ground
Hi Sally. Yes you can. Start them in Spring.

Would you be interested in creating a video on how to collect yarrow seeds?
Yes. I'll look into it. Keep safe.

Hi Les. I find that there are sufficient nutrients in the compost I use to support healthy growth. Thanks for your advice.
