Hey ICG. I'm sorry your more recent vids aren't pulling the mad numbers your first few ER challenge videos did a couple years ago. If it helps, I really like watching them and I wish more people would. They'd enjoy it, I'm sure.
That feeling when you been stuck on a fight for like a whole day literally and you finally get him and turn your character towards the camera just standing there... i know that feeling brother. crazy stuff you managed to pull this off.
It's always a joy to see a new video of yours. I usually watch them when I go to bed and problably watched each one of your challenges 10 times or more. Thank you!!
I know this tip isn't useful for this run, but I've found that the deflecting hard tear and using guard counters is a great way to deal with Commander Gaius. Pretty much turns the fight into Gyobu from Sekiro.
i tried doing this with a hand balista build. I couldn't do it. I got to falling star beast in volcano manor and sadly the damage wasn't gonna scale either
I haven't finished the video yet, but I'm happy to see the follow-ups to videos I'd watched a while back. Your commentary is always entertaining. I really do hope the almighty algorithm turns its attention towards you. Thanks for the great content!
I don't really comment often (just like and be on my way) but honestly all of your videos are of such a high production quality that you really do deserve whatever little extra boost I can give here lol Your challenge runs are always an absolute treat to watch, and I'm excited to see what you come up with next. Keep it up.
Iv never said it out loud because I thought I was just trash, but it's nice to know someone else experienced that dodge roll buffering issue too. I would often feel like I got hit once and proceed to be unable to dodge again for a minute usually leading to death.
I'm currently doing a run to try and kill as few times as possible in the DLC. Hornsent is one of the wrinkles that had to be dealt with. I just needed to be summoned by Leda to witness her kill him. Thankfully, it only took a couple tries for her to do it without me helping or hindering.
I believe there's a way to keep Moore out of the fight without killing him with the power of depression. It's either if you never answer his question what to do after Miquellas charm is broken, or if you tell him you don't know.
I just had a very similar experience with Romina on a caster build last night. She was surprisingly difficult, after having no problem at with her on me melee builds. This particular caster is limited to only INT/FTH scaling spells, none of which did particularly excellent damage to her. It only took me about 30 minutes, but I'm sure it would have been hellish at the DPS you're putting out.
I forget exactly what I used on her, I think it was mostly lightning. She's not especially strong against magic or any other element and has 0 fire resist.
Well, it's also just a conflict of interests. You want to stop Miquella whereas Freyja is happy to let him do his thing and resurrect Radahn because she likes the guy.
I am doing my own challenge run using Dry Leaf Arts and Danes Footwork originally I was only going to do the main game and decided to do the DLC and I finished the Leda and allies fight today and I didn't talk to Hornsent after we killed Messmer and I told Moore to put it behind him so in that fight I had to go against Freyja, Hornsent, Moore, Dane and Leda luckily I had Ansbach and Thoillier on my side and my mimic of course.
@@ShinxBOOM247They dont have all the information when something first comes out but get to it eventually and usually confirm it with datamining, tho the DLC is taking awhile to fill out. It might be incomplete for awhile but its also usually a lot more accurate than other random guides written by one person in 6 hours the day the DLC released. If you search online for how to fight Putrescent Knight like 15 different content aggregation sites copying off of each other will suggest using bleed builds bc "hes very weak to bleed." Even Google's garbage AI will now source these articles to say the same thing. Putrescent Knight is completely immune to blood loss.
i beat radahn once with no cheese but now I just respec to shield poke and rly eases the mind not having the dread in the back of your mind every new game 😊
17:53 yeah, running straight backwards during Bayle's fly by fireball attack as soon as he starts shooting isn't the play. The trick to consistently dodging the barrage (or at least what's worked for me) is to run to the left or right before slowly turning to run backwards around the end of the barrage so you can more easily dodge the slide at the end of it
my editor chose a slightly bad clip there, for a long time my main dodge method was run back and to the right, sort of "diagonal back" (which only SOMETIMES got me hit). my editor chose the one clip where i was running straight back lol. i've learned now that the correct way to run away is just "hold hard right" and you'll be fine.
There is actually a way to get invaded by Hornsent just before Romina’s boss room. In the rot swamp, going up the ramp, Hornsent spawns to kill you. Kill him here he will not show up. Also telling Morre that you don’t know what to do he will not show up in the gank
i feel like its a shame that radahn is immune to sleep. it'd be a neat little weakness to be able to briefly stun him with a nap like you can with rykard
since this isn't getting as much attention as your older er challenge runs, I'll do my part and comment to boost in the al-gore-rithm. anyways love your humour and skill, and good luck with your new up and coming rolling only run starring the worst spell of the dlc ;P
Will always enjoy your content! Always had this question, is it just me or has anyone else die more times to the boar than actual "Commander Gaius"? Would've been great get a remember for the boar specifically and get the boar helmet

Its a really cool battle royale with all the summoned NPCs on your side, but the enemy NPCs are also pretty strong & tanky so if you ended up fighting all of them (or are too stubborn to summons NPCs) it can be kinda brutal.
It's entirely because of the summons. So many people try so hard to do this fight solo when the fight is so aggressively *not* built for that. You can't force this fight like you could the Radahn Festival, and even if you ignore both Ansbach and Thollier you still get a Sanguine Noble to help you.
