A beautiful Gem of music that lets light in the heart. Your harpsichord has wonderful sound the recording sounds natural Thank you for playing Bravissimo ! !
This is truly heartfelt and de profundis. Marvelous, instinctive playing, and a delicious instrument sound Merci!!! (repeating what I posted a year ago, since Behold: it is true now more than ever! Needs to be heard - and reheard.)
@@cembalaro You have an amazing touché, I have rarely heard french harpsichord works being performed so well. You dont play the harpsichord like an instrument. but rather use it as an extension of your soul. Your preludes come out so naturally, your ornamentation is pure bliss and so gracefull. I cant wait for more of your uploads.
The video is very impressive. As to the audio, Virgil Thomson, composer and music critic for, I think the NY Times, when reviewing the first recordings available in the US, of Wanda Landowska, pointed out that the sound of the harpsichord is such that even the most rudimentary playback medium is capable of doing it justice. A great thing. Thanks for this performance.
