Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

The only reason I'd lean toward the black chrome version over this one is because in my opinion it looks wet. Other than that, they both look really nice if you don't mind static poses. Honestly I have the regular Batman preordered and don't have any interest in the armored version.
This is one of my favourite 1:6 scale batman figures
So it was the right decision to buy the Mezco one and not the HT.
Don't know why you cared about the toy articulation... it's a solid mental piece in the film that wouldn't and shouldn't move.

I take the pegs outve arm and put them in hand first. Then back into arm. Works a lot better that way
The Knightmare Batman has the same problem with the hands. That was my very first Hot Toy so I thought I was doing something wrong, but they still pop off really easily.

So, it's dissapointing, doesn't have to much content, a ton of problems... but in the shelf "looks" cool... just like the movie. So, it's an accurate representation.
They should've made articulated fingers for this one like they do for Iron Man. And I don't know why anyone would want to pay so much for a Hot Toy and not pose it.

Tom Bowling I'm sure everyone will always have a different opinion of the best Batman, but I don't think he'll be remembered as just one actor as they replace him every five years or so. My guess is Bale though, Nolan's movies were extremely successful and they set themselves apart from other superhero movies.

Hot toys look great but seem like to much of a pain to own.
Much like the movie it came from, looks cool, but the overall payoff was crap.
"Not fun to pose at all" Umm...Its a Hot Toys Shart, you should know by now theyre not meant to be posed as it stupidly causes damage to them. Your meant to have them just standing straight up.
sonicrockmanx where's the fun in that? they should just advertise it as a statue, not an action figure if you're just supposed to leave it in a vanilla pose. Some hot toys pose just as well as marvel legends like my Kylo Ren hot toys, idk man this figure was a bit limited.
+Joe Cyr - I agree. But that's how they stupid design them. Yeah they look like from the film and all but they don't function like in the film. Like a character does a kick in the film but in the Hot Toys it can't. Or if it can it can't be left posed like that for too long as it damages the figure. Which is stupid! If one drops the figure or it falls over and gets damaged it makes sense, but damaged for leaving it posed just sounds ridiculous. For a $200+ figure its just stupid. Some Hot Toys can be posed more than others, but theres not that many can or let alone without the damage risk. I've seen many people's Hot Toys collection and theyre mostly just standing up straight. Or the most posed is the elbows in and the figure crunched down slightly, but mostly just standing up straight vanilla pose.
sonicrockmanx yea unfortunately that's true. I have a few hot toys and sideshow collectibles. I try to pose them, and for the most part they look great! The people that say some figures aren't poseable are just not creative...I have the sideshow collectibles Darth Malgus, and almost every review on that figure said it was unposeable, yet I was able to put him in an action pose, so it just takes creativity.
For the Bruce Wayne head just swap out the helmet and use the head from the Batman armory set

... dude, that sucks!... Hot Toys could nailed it with that figure but they screwed all, there's a lot of "making toys technology" to have made that non-posable expensive crap.

I have the black chrome edition of this figure. While it looks cool the Articulation leaves a lot to be desired. And the hands are so incredibly frustrating to swap out. I ordered the "K-Stone" spear from toys era and I feel like swapping out the hands for that is going to be bitch. Out of the three BvS Batman figures I'd probably put this third with the regular Batman 1 and the Knightmare 2.

Dear Lord! It scares me how bad that is articulation-wise. The Mafex one and the DC Collectibles one both look far better. Good review, my man.
The Dc collectibles hasn't even shown its point of articulation let alone how will you know it's good when they only shown the promo photo that shows no joint articulation since it's just a promo photo.

Lordy Girado Fairly late on that I seen them. Also even Anthony's customs already posted a photo of the Superman. it looks better the the Mafex which I give you that the Armor Batman is pretty much the same like other figures it's about same to mafex with quality just not impressive being they couldn't give it a ab crunch back or forward. plus no accessories but 2 set of hands and the gun which is pretty meh. since we have the gun with all the figures.

I have not seen one Hot Toys that I would even consider buying. Near zero articulation, complicated fragile parts, and bloated price point considering the two previous flaws. They're pretty, but with such limited articulation and flimsy construction, I can't justify the price.

I'm not a toy guy, and I never watch toy reviews, but I randomly stumbled upon your war machine video, because I was looking up his fight scenes, and just out of curiosity, I checked out how much this toy cost, just to see what these things go for, and WTF........$250??? I thought these things were like $20-$40 tops.
And that's not because this is a poor quality toy, or anything, but I'm just shocked at how much these things cost. What materials do they use for these? And are these some rare limited edition figures that aren't mass produced? Are they all specially hand crafted by the toy makers? Why are they so freaking expensive? Again, I'm not being sarcastic, I genuiney want to know.
King Tutt Hot Toys is the company that makes them. These figures are made of high quality materials, the paint and sculpt is usually very top notch, and figures that have an unmasked face usually have a striking, very accurate likeness to the character. $200+ is definitely s lot, but keep in mind they also have to pay to use a certain actor’s likeness in the figure. When it’s all said and done, the high price point is pretty justifiable. That being said, they have been going up in price over the years which sucks.
I agree the articulation with this figure is a bitch. Even though the joints are ratchet joints, they should have been a lot more stiff, like the standard Batman version. It is confusing to figure out what the hand with the curved 2 fingers is for, however, I saw from budget stark's video of it posed in secret base with that hand holding the grenade.

I like the normal action figures than hot toys!
DRUMPADS Tutorial me too. I have a couple but ultimately I feel like they're really expensive dolls meant to be put on a shelf and left alone. Plus I'm not big on the 12 inch scale. Play arts have the perfect larger scale size for my tastes but 6-7 inch figures are what I mainly collect.
