I bought a m18 shell a long time ago in Verdun as a souvenir even though I don't have much knowledge about helmets. It's marked K64 but I can't find much about that maker.
The M17 stahlhelm was an Austro-Hungariwn type of stahlhelm. The Austrians didn't used the camouflage, the chinstrap pin was little bit taller and they used "isonzobraun" color
I've renovated the house of my great grandparents here in Belgium. In the attic I found 5 helmets. 4 of them are WWI, the last one is a US WWII helmet. (One great uncle fought in WWI, the other in WWII) But I can't tell if they are M16, -17 or -18. The liners are no longer present. Could you help me out in indetifying them?
In german language a description series about wwl helmets was made by Panzermuseum Munster, under the title ,Lebensretter ?' the ycare visible in TH-cam.
Which one should I wear to a Halloween party ?
😂

The ww1 German camo is a work of art.

The 2nd video I watched and the one that finally convinced me to subcribe to your channel. :)
I have one with what looks like a small o.66 and it's a camo pattern

I honestly like the ww1 helmets better than the ww2 helmets.
