Man I been telling people that FANG ain't a bad character. He just needs to work harder to secure those W's. That man has great neutral presence and mixes
i think the biggest argument against him is he needs to win more interactions to close games than other characters. More explosive characters can take 50% of hp in one interaction + v-trigger to close out games. In this clip FANG takes only 25% of hp for each mix/interaction.
Except when Daigo played him for like 2 months straight. That was the only time I really watched his stream, because Fang is such a weird, but interesting character to watch being played at a very high level.
chat, would brian've been able to build enough meter for super and kill if he did a different combo? cause i don't think that if he finished the combo it woulda killed anyway
@@attrpgplayer2033 Sorry for not being clear but I mean the first mix at 0:20. I agree the setup at 0:25 is rough, but I think you could pretty consistently get your way out of the mix at 0:20. Maybe the fang could make this trickier by flipping to the other side and also using a move with longer startup, but you can definitely react to his side switch as is in this video.

He's only bad on season 1 and became good after that which made Daigo used to main him before focus on Guile again

Not really a mix though, you can see his side switch and react to it. Just gotta play the matchup more.

The poison ball at 0:25 makes the mix up very ambiguous and since his light command dash has such a short range, he could have ended in the same side.
