1958 Buick Commercial - Limited, Century and Special

A very unique car for 1958. Buick had probably more chrome on it's Electra Limited than on any other car produced at the time. Layered and layers of Chrome. GM took a distinctly different styling turn for 59, following the lead of Chrysler for 57.

The Electra nameplate (along with the LeSabre and Invicta) did not appear till the 1959 models.

Those C-130 planes could take off with a lot more weight than that! They are still an important part of the DoD inventory 64 years later.
