Beautiful boat and great skippers who can finish in the top 3 of the Transat Jacques Vabre. It's a shame not to see it on the Vendée Globe.

When I watch boats like this one my mind imagine what the response to seeing it nearly fly would be to ancient mariners at different times in history. Imagine sailing past Spanish gallons or 16th-century world explorers. Or Greek Tyreens.

@11th Hour Racing Team This is great!!!! Now could you dub in wind whistling in the rig and water splashing sounds?? Really interesting to see the lift the hydrofoil provides.

Trying to think of an on land or even in the sky experience to compare this sailing to that wouldn't be environmentally destructive. Thanks TH-cam for a glimpse inside another world of delicious raw energy.

That is a good boat and probably Alex Thompson is thinking if he had done the right thing changing it for the new Hugo Boss. The team is making a great Transat. I hope they reconsider making the Vendee or at least to charter the boat for a good sailor to have a shoot at it even if they really don't need because Bidegorry is perfectly capable to do a great Vendee on that boat.... or Charlie may be interested in see how the big boys play. There would not be a better way to know the boat

With a few mods the ex Hugo Boss would have won the next Vendee with Alex at the controls. The boat is a beast , can easily keep up and surpass the new boats in the fleet.
