In one of the pictures on the blog, there is an embossing on the background that looks to be some type of Navajo deco print…triangles and circles of different types. Does anyone know what embossing folder that is?

I have a question for all the commentators who are so enthusiastic about this die set. How often do you see yourself creating with it? Once? Twice? Are you really going to use it next year?
I just do not understand why companies keep releasing dies that should be stickers or die cuts in a card kit. How many times do I really need a lady looking away from the viewer? In a swimsuit? With no legs? Can’t say there’s really been a need for this in my card making.
I tried really hard to come up with ways to use this set other than the intended image. I could make a sun from hat parts. I can turn the hat ribbon and straps into a snowflake. Maybe make some abstract florals. The sentiments could be used in another application.
The point of stamps and dies is to make multiples. I just cannot see anyone using this set more than a couple of times. Maybe you’ll send a few cards to friends? Maybe if you are having a pool party (and you actually send out paper invitations!), you might make it a dozen times. Maybe. I doubt it. It’s not the kind of set that lends it self to bulk card making. Too much paper piecing with teeny tiny pieces.
Is the image charming? Yes. But it is so limited that I don’t know why anyone wants this particular image as a die. Maybe some one can explain it to me.
Spellbinders you send your dies to many TH-camrs for free well ahead of the release. Don’t you have an obligation to show many different ways to use the dies? But then you would have to acknowledge this image is so ridiculously limited that it never should have been a die set in the first place. For your dies and stamps shouldn’t versatility be a guiding principle?
I will use this for years to come. This is going to be part of my Christmas card this year…..some of us don’t love winter or cold weather. My imagination is wild, so this is a big yes for me. Maybe I need to be on the design team!

I get not liking cold weather, but using a headless and legless torso on a Christmas card seems creepy. Unless you are building mandalas just with the shapes?
I don’t know. Maybe I’m in the minority. But I see complaints from paper crafters all the time about both feeling pressured to buy too much and about not using the supplies they already have. It’s one of the most common questions professional crafters receive-- “How do I use the supplies I already have?”. I think one trick ponies craft supplies are a large part of the problem. But again maybe that’s just my perspective. I wish you all the best with your Christmas cards and sincerely hope they are received in the spirit you intend.
@@jenniferfarrar3542 I agree with you Jenn! I'm not a club member yet, but I would use this set for all summer birthday cards, and as a 'cheer up' summer is coming in the winter! All things beach make me happy :D As for rtd, if you hate it that much, just pass it on to a crafty friend or sell it on ebay or something. It's really the same principle for all the dies out there...I keep track of what cards I send to my friends so that I don't repeat the same flower die or whatever. Happy 4th everyone!
