When Jesus Christ said do not dwell in your past or you shall live in your past. I thought he meant don't ever think of your past yet what I now believe he was saying was that we should let go of the past the shame the guilt the remorse the things that kept us in bondage. Not to dwell on the things that we have been forgiving for in other words. So that we can come boldly before the Lord forgiven. When Jesus Christ said do not dwell in your past or you shall live in your past. I thought he meant don't ever think of your past yet what I now believe he was saying was that we should let go of the past the shame the guilt the remorse the things that kept us in bondage. Not to dwell on the things that we have been forgiving for in other words. So that we can come boldly before the Lord forgiven. How can we go before the Lord if we're constantly dwelling on our shame and guilt and remorse from the past. Well as usual Jesus Christ directions are spot on.
