You would think that some baby company would make a line of clothing for babies in the NICU you know there would be a market for it they could make clothes in preemie sizes but also make outfits that open like that great job Momma bear Azariah will look adorable in his outfits that you fixed for him. Adaptive clothing is such a challenge for so many children. I worked in this field and everything from anti strip clothing g to needing gloved clothing to open backed clothing is such an issue. I was caring for my Sister-in law in hospice last year. Trying to rotate and dress her was challenging. I discovered cutting nightgowns up the back and leaving just enough to go over her neck to hold on was perfect. She wanted her own nightclothes and I did the same with hoodies. I slit the hoodies up the back and then left hood on so when in bed it looked like she was in her clothing but we could dress her without hurting her as she had cancer that had spread to the bone. Dignity is so important and being able to dress in your clothing is a form of expression for many. Your love for your son is evident and your showing others the value of every moment we have with life. I was caring for my Sister in law this time last year. She passed on Jan 13. However I cared for her for 6 weeks almost 24/7. It was a honor and something I will never forget.

That way it doesn’t have to go over his head. Take a peek and see if it will work for Azariah. Absolutely love the bear theme. It’s perfect.
That is very ingenious! I watch another channel that the young son has an autoimmune disease he goes for iv treatment every 4 weeks so he has a port in his chest. Mama makes him port tshirts by cutting a long enough opening from the neck, sews in a zipper. This way when he goes to get hooked up he just unzips his tshirt so he doesn't have to take his shirt off. I thought that was the coolest! I imagine this kind of shirt would be great for those receiving chemo also! Smart mamas!!

Question for you….i remember early on that there was more than one kind of Trisomy 18 and that there was something called Mosaic that he might have. Not sure if I missed the video if you talked about this and I apologize if you addressed this but I was wondering if you had found out if this was the kind he had.
