Who else thinks it amazing that they have roads and other normal infrastructure in a world with mountain sized tortoise trudging about? Not too mention all manner of monsters in the country side. I can see why the city of Insomnia has such large walls...
The subtly of this game is amazing like the way Noctic's eyes twitch a little bit and the corners of his mouth turn down while he's on the phone. That's like such a great show of their understanding of body language and emotion. Cannot wait for this game.

It's a good song from bad meets evil (eminem and royce da 5'9) songs called fast lane. Listen to the actual song they skipped some verses in this trailer and it made it sounds weird check out the actual song.

I don't understand the profound disrespect westerns have towards Japanese culture or music... And just to clarify before you harass and belittle me, because many westerns seem to rudely disgrace others over the smallest of things that resembles Japan, but Ayane is my real name and I am Japanese who have come to study and live in America, I only say this because you seem to belittle people very loosely based off biased reasoning concerning the smallest things that have to do with Japan. Why use such words like "weeaboo" to belittle one another? It's easily understandable that people would prefer a well classic and original fantasy music that the Final Fantasy series well known for.
Just the disrespect I see from westerns lately has been horrible lately all because a Japanese made game has an American music in it, and now anyone that says otherwise for a more traditional Final Fantasy music should be belittled and called names like "weeaboos"? That is just ridiculous when you really think about it. Im just saying, I like the music that was used, but as I played Final Fantasy in Japan and here in America, I prefer a more instrumental fantasy like music, you know, something more tradition to the Final Fantasy theme, but I understand it's branching out, just the type of negativity it brings from westerners to those that like more original Final Fantasy music is shameful.

This trailer was so badass/epic... until the rap music started at 0:51 and I started laughing noi. Rap doesn't suit a Final Fantasy game at all. (Maybe they were trying to make it appeal to westerners.. O_o) Would have been a great trailer with almost any other song but this one.
What happened to those gorgeous classical OST pieces that the Final Fantasy series is known for? One of those would have been great for this trailer.

I never understood what the Final Fantasy Franchise was about, last time I played it, it was for PS2
Pork Chop Extra Gravy every main FF game takes place in its own separate universe with a different story each time. Really in order to understand any of them you just have to play it.
Pork Chop Extra Gravy They have no correlation with one another. The only one i played was FF10 back in the PS2 days and it was a great game overall.
Most of the main titles in the series have no correlation. There are many sequels to main-title games as well as different universes built off of the same mythos (as is the case with XIII, Type-0, XV) that break that rule. Final Fantasy is usually mostly focused on deep RPG mechanics and story telling.

Well it was a good trailer up until you reach the 51 second mark.
if you combine all the trailers and the gameplays they've shown there you have almost all the game..
Everyone seems to hate the song, but the song choice personally surprised me (in a good way). I feel like Final Fantasy always has epic music, but it's usually instrumental sounds. Square Enix has been exploring and experimenting with different music types which I feel like started back during FFXIII. This song made me feel like it was something I'd hear in the background of a battle during FFV! FFXIII certainly had some unique music choices, so I fully expect FFV to as well. Way to go Square Enix for branching out!
That being said, the song was cool, but when I heard Eminem I liked it a little less. He has this angry way of singing (or rapping) that puts a damper on the moment. Still like the song though 😊
