Great recipe, I love the addition of avocado. Please note that rice and rice water is a protein treatment and shouldn't be used often on afro hair. I would recommend once every 6-8 weeks.
As long as you balance the rice water with moisturizing ingredients like oils, butters, aloe vera, hibiscus, honey or glycerin, it shouldn't be a problem.

Rice water is great, but using it too often can cause terrible breakage in your hair. Would suggest a low concentration/diluted rice water rinse for the hair.
My hair hates added protein. Rice water made my hair super dry. My hair used to break off from conditioners (including leave-ins) that contain protein. Finally had a successful wash, condition, and styling without breakage when I used non-protein based products. I'd love to try thus but I'd have to defenitely infuse with something that benefits super non-porous hair.
Balancing protein and moisture is definitely key! You can add other oils and melted butters (shea and mango are great). Honey and glycerin (which are also humectants) could help as well as fresh aloe vera gel. If your hair is low porosity, trying steaming with the mask, as the heat will help with penetration into the strands and your hair will also get a infusion of moist air.
Add cornstarch to boiling milk with some sugar and stir until you have a smooth thick custard like consistency. Put on cauliflower or carrots. Delicious 😋👍🏻

Hey sis I’m so sorry that caused shedding to your hair. It’s very well possible that your hair doesn’t agree with it so discard that one. It’s always better to do a patch test first before using it throughout your hair. Ya I do have many recipes but it’s not to say that they’ll all work for everyone at the same time. They’re ideas. Also it’s worth finding out your hair porosity. Mine is high so I always do moisture and seal too to help lock in that moisture. I would store in the fridge not more than a a fews to a week given it has water and avocado. Or put it into a silicone mold and freeze it. If you have a preservative, you can use it but I would still put it in the fridge with the avocado.
Are there any testimonials of the ladies that you have helped with bald spots and used your product all I’m seeing is lots of hair which I don’t have. If you have someone to show me would make me want to use it more.😢
Is this is a leave-in conditoner or do we wash it out? And if we wash it out, how long do we keep it in before washing it out? Great job though, and your hair looks great.
It works for low porosity hair but you have to use a small amount of rice water and add normal water. Like (example) maybe 20%(or 10) rice water and 80%(or 90%) water. Because you are right it'll break
Do you made showing before and after pictures? That would be helpful and even more convincing that there's actually hope for those with damage brittle hair.
Go and look at other channels and do ur own research sis!! Notice the people who put dedication into their hair has the same type of healthy looking hair…

Massage your scalp 15 minutes a day.. in coconut oil.. pop a couple vitamin E capsules as well in your hair. You’re not getting enough blood flow for thicker and fuller hair.
No, eat fenugreek spice in pills, make your own cheapest if you buy bulk spice. Persian. Mexican. Etc. And pills of nettles, and pills of biotin - I like Superior Source. It makes you a hedge hog at 3 months. Lol. The only thing to block this is head fungus. Try apple cider vinegar rinse, or honey on scalp 10 min, do hour the first time. Or coloidal silver. Etc. Now look for reexposure risk: treat brushes, clips etc, bleach pillowcases. Look at transfer from spouse. If your blood sugar is toooo high you will keep working toward fungus. I'm considering making fresh coloidal silver (good a week) and dosing at a teaspoon a day to kill fungus from the inside??? Only buy a kit with guaranteed pure silver. Takes 1 minute to set up in distilled water, and 20 minutes to read directions. Make light medium yellow.
It takes time to see length sis. Our hair grows everyday and it’s about retaining it on our scalps. This will provide you moisture which in turn will stop breakabge for you to see length. I use a shampoo by elvive L’Oréal Paris ❤️
@@janniehayes7175 right? I'm just trying to figure out where anyone would ever use onion in place of cornstarch. The properties of each one is extremely different from the other.
Comments like that show exactly why so many people are used to and addicted to toxic chemicals that are bad for you. If the person in your bed isn't supportive on your journey to making your scalp healthy nor can't get past the smell considering there are much bigger issues and problems in this world, then you don't need them anyways. Healthy scalp vs someone vain? I'm sure there are tons of people with bigger and permanent problems who wish their only problem was something as simple as that but to each his own.
The only thing i use on my hair now is batana oil, fresh rosemary sprigs, cloves. I put cloves & rosemary in a spray bottle, i spray on my hair. I use distilled water.
You can use a hot oil treatment prior and a moisturizing butter afterwards. Pantene leave in conditioner has helped grow my child’s hair to the waistline. Hair sheds 100 strand daily. It’s misleading to say that not a single hair will shed.
Lourdes, Biotin vitamine 1, i like Superior Source. . Nettles supplement 1. Fenugreek, use 2 if you stuffed your own forxa low price. At 3 months you look like a hedge hog. LOL. Only head fungus can block. Use apple cider vinegar rinse. Honey 10 min on scalp, 1 hour the first time. Or home made coloidal silver with your own kit, or lemon, or your own anti fungal rinse. Now treat brushes, clips pillowcases etc. Hats and spouses can reinfect. If tooo high of blood sugar you can make fungus easily.
Hair goes through stages, from formation to growth and eventually shedding. Don't be alarmed if your hair is shedding, it's part of the normal growth cycle. I'll be making a video on that soon. We loose 50 to 100 hair strands a day. Rice water is good but I won't add corn starch to my hair.
Cornstarch is simple may help encourage hair development by preventing infections and maintaining a healthy scalp. Cornstarch can also assist in reducing frizz by offering a layer of protection to the hair shaft. Additionally, cornstarch encourages hair growth by increasing scalp blood flow. Do your own research and if you think that her recipes aren't to your liking, maybe you can make your own, I make my own hair oils and butters and my hair has doubled in length in 4 months.. we trust store bought stuff with ingredients we can't pronounce and trust that it's the best thing, not realizing with research we can find out that many of those chemicals cause hormone imbalance in women and increase our risk for things like fibroids... how sad.
@Ingrid Paul I have, I have made my own hair and body care products since 2011. The only store products i buy is styling gel and mousse and now I can make my own. I have a Diploma in Organic Haircare Formulation. More over saying not a single hair will fall out is simply wrong. Hair does fall out naturally because it has reached the end of it's cycle. If there is excessive hair fall out then other factors come into play. A lot of people fall for click bait and would actually believe anything on the internet. My hair would have been past but length if I hadn't cut off my permed hair past shoulder length, natural hair past shoulder length to now my current growth past shoulder length. You're free to add cornstarch to your hair care, again I wouldn't add it to my hair.
Do u wash out the condition after appliance it to the hair or just leave it in? How offer do u chance up mixture to help your hair to get thick or grows.please respond.ms.betty

I would store in the fridge not more than a a fews to a week given it has water and avocado. Or put it into a silicone mold and freeze it. If you have a preservative, you can use it but I would still put it in the fridge with the avocado.
Amazing. I will try it this week. Thanks for sharing.
Hope you enjoy
I would like to see you apply this to YOUR hair.🤙🏾
I did
That is her hair 😂. Her hair been like that for years now
I receive today the grace of God
Hi thanks so much for this tutorial, do you know the shelf life for this conditioner?
I'm curious about that too... Looks great though 😄
Yeah
Can we refrigerate
Your hair is beautiful, thanks for sharing
Is it to be used as a leave in conditioner or to be washed off ?
Thank you for sharing. Your hair looks nice. 👍
This mixed up so well. Looks luscious. Thank you.
Hi... I really appreciate your recipe. Thank you.
I also use flaxseed gel.
Me too
Are there any testimonials of the ladies that you have helped with bald spots and used your product all I’m seeing is lots of hair which I don’t have. If you have someone to show me would make me want to use it more.😢
Is this is a leave-in conditoner or do we wash it out? And if we wash it out, how long do we keep it in before washing it out?
Great job though, and your hair looks great.
Do we have to refrigerate it or can we leave it out? How long is this good for? Can't wait to try it.
Yes 👍
How long do you leave it in or do you rinse it out over a period of time .
She commented to someone else to leave on between 45 mins to 1 hour...
Rice water only works for those with high porosity hair. With low porosity it will break
Yah, rice water doesn't work for my hair either. It makes it super dry and brittle.
So for white people is different? I didn't knoww
@@bradyjohnson7705 I don't know whether white people have low porosity hair as well
That explains why rice water makes my hair dry and brittle. The yao women don't have the same hair texture as blacks. Makes sense
It works for low porosity hair but you have to use a small amount of rice water and add normal water. Like (example) maybe 20%(or 10) rice water and 80%(or 90%) water. Because you are right it'll break
Thank you so much for the video.
I lost my hair, I had very nice and very hair but l lost it. What can I use to have it back?
Do you made showing before and after pictures? That would be helpful and even more convincing that there's actually hope for those with damage brittle hair.
Go and look at other channels and do ur own research sis!! Notice the people who put dedication into their hair has the same type of healthy looking hair…
Thanks for sharing GOD BLESS YOU😊
Can I just add I personally have an allergy to rice and coconut with dramatically drying affects so please be aware when trying new ingredients....
For this recipe can the rice be replaced with anything else please???
Hi, this means that your hair could be protein sensitive. Just avoid products with protein whether DIY or store-bought.

Thanks for sharing all of these DIY tutorials, since I started following u on ur channel, my daughters hair has been so much improved & very easy to manage.
Idk why I want to eat this 😅 but I’m trying this I just did my big chop a while ago this is the longest I’ve been natural!
Hi thanks for the video but I would like to know how to use it and if I can also use it as a leave in conditioner
Thank you but no you have to wash it out ❤️
Is this good for all type of hair?
Yes 🙌
Thanks for sharing, how would you store it if there is some left over and how long for?
My hair is thin and that's genetics nothing changes that. Maybe it might help with thinning but whatever your hair dense or thin it remains the same
Massage your scalp 15 minutes a day.. in coconut oil.. pop a couple vitamin E capsules as well in your hair.
Thank you my sister!
You are so welcome❤️
For how long are you going to do this treatment, for your hair to grow longer like that? What kind of shampoo do you use?
It takes time to see length sis. Our hair grows everyday and it’s about retaining it on our scalps. This will provide you moisture which in turn will stop breakabge for you to see length. I use a shampoo by elvive L’Oréal Paris ❤️
WOOOOOW!
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!
So how do you apply and how long do you let it stay on the hair? Thanks, anyone
Dr sebi said eat wild rice white rice is bleached but brown rice is higher in arsinic acid
What if you don't have corn starch but every other ingredient? can you add onion in replacement of that
Imagine going to bed with someone who smells like an onion
Ewww was this comment a joke?
@@janniehayes7175 right? I'm just trying to figure out where anyone would ever use onion in place of cornstarch. The properties of each one is extremely different from the other.
You can leave it out sis or use whatever you have ❤️
Comments like that show exactly why so many people are used to and addicted to toxic chemicals that are bad for you. If the person in your bed isn't supportive on your journey to making your scalp healthy nor can't get past the smell considering there are much bigger issues and problems in this world, then you don't need them anyways.
Healthy scalp vs someone vain?
I'm sure there are tons of people with bigger and permanent problems who wish their only problem was something as simple as that but
to each his own.
Amazing I want volume and density thank God bless you be safe thanks for sharing.
You are so welcome❤️
Can I make a big batch and freeze it, then defrost it when needed? I don't have time to do this often
Yes. I have several silicone soap molds that enable me to make four to six each batch. Then I just thaw out what I need.
Thank you for sharing. ❤
Do you recommend washing the rice before soaking it in water overnight? I see you did not. Are you worried about impurities in store bought rice?
You can do ❤️
Will come back to this recipe another time but thank you.
1. Is it for immediate use or can it be preserved for months?
2. Is it a leave in conditioner or should be washed off?
Thanks for sharing.
I would use this as a protein treatment. please double with an actual deep conditioner if you are low porosity
My hair was very healthy years ago and it didn't shed
MSy I ask what type of stuff u use?
@@ingridpaul2936 thanks, very helpful and informative ❤🙌🙏🏾
Thank you so much for sharing. Your hair looks amazing!
Thanks for sharing the rice water ingredients and I need to know what's the white powder spoon ingredients add into rice water
Do u wash out the condition after appliance it to the hair or just leave it in? How offer do u chance up mixture to help your hair to get thick or grows.please respond.ms.betty
Yeah I wash it out and use once a week ❤️
I really enjoyed all your videos. Please can you tell me the second recipe you added. Thanks 🙏
Can you apply it on twists ?
Can the remedy be kept up to 5 days or more like doing it in a large badge
I don't know for sure but I'm thinking avocado is going to smell pretty rank after 5 days, just saying
Beautiful recipe.. Thanks for sharing dear ❤️
Thank you too
sometime you should use people with short hair because people with long hair
already have long hair to begin with.
Lol why do y’all keep saying this? A lot of these long haired ladies didn’t start off with long hair…some may have a good grade of hair yes but all this is done over time…
Absolutely 💯
@@mathapelo802: Uh-oh. Here we go with the texturism. What is a “good grade” of hair? Please explain. 🙄
