Please, she has to do the dirty work, uh its her position. Point guard is harder- score, pass , rebound, assist, steals. Does Reese do all of the above AND fill the arenas??? Just lost respect for Caroline.
Cardosa is twice the player Reese is and has 3 times the potential
Angel Reese has the physique, height, and strength to rebound and shoot putbacks. But that is her entire basketball repertoire. She works only within 10 to 12 feet of the basket. The skill set she has to master is small. Her role allows her to be relatively immobile while everyone else runs around
Caitlin Clark has to dribble the ball up, scan the court for open shots or passes or execute a set play. She has to run around into whatever position the set play requires her to be. She shoots 3's and draws defenders out so that the center or forwards have easier shots inside. She has to fight against double and triple coverage all night. She has to change sets if the defense is not right or a teammate makes a mistake. She has to make quick decisions on long passes if a teammate has an open breakaway.. She is usually the first to fall back on defense on a missed shot by anyone. The center is often the LAST person to jog back on defense.
So stop the nonsense about dirty work being hard. Yes, it is, but being point guard is far more difficult and physically taxing.
Caitlin Clark is the Quarterback of her team. Angel Reese is a tight end of her team ,.

The last time I was interested and watched the WNBA was when Lindsay Whalen came back to Minnesota to play for the Lynx(3 championships). Clark has me interest in the WNBA again, because she doesn't care about statistics all she cares about is the team wins.
Peck is a former coach at Purdue university. Purdue, as one of the best basketball schools in the Big Ten should be embarassed by this.

ESPN is clay
ESPN is dead to me and most of the people I know feel the same way. They are just looking for a story, so they jump on the Angel bandwagon, and disrespect Catlin. But I hear the tide is slowly changing, one ESPN comentary has changed her views. I think the big boys at ESPN is getting tired of hearing all this hate pushed at Catlin and is pushing back. Angel is a good player, but whats going on between these two ladies is wrong.
There is no rivalry between Caitlin and Reese. Caitlin leads Reese in 4 out of 5 stats. Nobody cares about double-doubles even in the NBA.

A higher standard? CC is being held to a standard that doesn't even exist in reality. Virtually the entire league is against her by every metric, whether via honest competition like the double teaming and full court press or the media denial of the totality of her stats and her own team and coach working against her via horrible ball handling or the worst coaching in the league. Only basketball fans and NBA players seem to have an honest perspective of her historical and generational play.
She was unbelievable the past 2 games.
@jaytalks-hoops she's a rookie. She's been unbelievable the entire season, juggling all the hype, all the pressure, all the criticism, all the hate, all the enemy fire, and friendly fire. I'm not sure which is greater, her basketball stats, or her seemingly unshakable character?
