  • This is a wonderful and informal occasion and is the perfect opportunity to enjoy some hymns and organ music, and for you to meet people who have similar interests.
    And it's KICK-OFF!! Time to find out what is the world's most popular hymn written by Isaac Watts, and there are many!
    32 hymns were submitted into the competition by my audience, and each week we'll have a live vote to see which hymns make it through to the next round.

    I God Our Help in Ages Past was one of the hymns at our wedding 54 years ago.

    In the Catholic Church, Ellacombe (Duke Street) is sung as, “Oh Queen of the Holy Rosary”, a Mary praise song.

      I'm more used to Duke Street being used for Fight The Good Fight or Fling Out The Banners. It's confusing if it's also called Ellacombe though, as I know that as a totally different tune usually used for The Day Of Resurrection.
