I have goldbacks but have not tried spending them yet with any merchants. I like the tip idea. I suggest you still tip with fiat and and add a goldback along with your tip. Of course leave a card about where they can find out more information about goldbacks as well. I have given goldbacks to my great nieces and great nephews as gifts. I do my best to educate them about the difference between money and currency. Every little bit helps. We have to all do our part to be the change we want to see.
