I would be happy to see this version of the prize! I liked the middle daughter but it didn't entirely rock my world enough, I think because it's also a story I've read many times before. I know Hannah @ LadetteM loved three fires which makes that one more intriguing to me. And the reformatory is one I have seen all of the horror reading community loving and it's going to be a Patreon book club pick for me! Congrats on 3k 💃🏾💃🏾

It is very Murakami-esque and heavy in magical realism, which is my thing. It’s set in Japan with memories set in NZ. It has a real international feel to it so maybe something the WP judges will like.
I expected these to be even more * wild * than this haha Praiseworthy was on my discarded picks too. The Great Divide is on my tbr and I have NO idea how I left it off my list. Some Latina representation would be great. Haven't seen much (any?) in the last few years I think.

It's about creating one of the characters that appears in the novel. I hadn't heard of the novel before that!
