- We all want to be independant, we want to be able to look after ourselves. The arthritis in my hands prevents me from popping my own pills, will this aid be the solution?

WHO AM I:
My name is Charlie and I am disabled. I live with chronic illness, I have a severe form of Psoriatic Arthritis and its crap! I am in pain all the time and always battling fatigue. BUT, I will not let it win. I love to learn and to laugh (even though it hurts my arthritic rib cage LOL). You will often see Ollie (she) my black Labrador. She is currently my trainee assistance dog! We are together, literally ALL the time.
As there are a number of awful people who target us - the vulnerable - here is a link to my personal LinkedIn account. You can literally see the past 25+yrs of my career, people who have recommended me (as a Logistician as Disability Specialist is very new for me).

Less strain than to just get them out normally.
just received PIP letter. CHARLIE!! MASSIVE THANK YOU FOR YOURS VIDEO! FOLLOWING YOUR GUIDANCE AND SUGESTIONS, WE AWARDED ENHANCED RATE from first ever attempt! People! you just listen Charlie , she knows the way!! Thank you again!!
Just had a review drop through my door yesterday, so I'm going to have to watch over all your videos again... Let the anxiety & stress begin again 😢 (let's see if I can actually complete it in time for a change.. Probably not! 🤦♂️
I had mine on Friday gone, It lasted over 1 half hours, I was exhausted. Some of the questions I couldn't answer but she persisted. I had already told her I was housebound then she asked what I what do If I went outdoors and became lost ?? I told her the obvious, It won't happen because I hardly ever leave the house so she asked me to imagine what would happen ??? This was my 2nd telephone interview, the first was only 40 mins and with straightforward questions. I don't know what the hell is going on. 🙄
My review came a few weeks ago. Waiting to hear. Fully understand your stress. Fingers crossed. 🤞 Well I would cross them if I could but it hurts so an emoji will do 😂
@@clairen3219 Thanks for the reply and good luck 🤞
Hey Beautiful Charlie and the Beautiful Silk's i love the wonky filming it's awesome, i hope you find yourself a pill popper soon and have a Beautiful Blessed Day On Purpose xx
Wonderfull idea thank you love this have a good day 🎉🎉
I bought one a couple of months ago,Brilliant.
Use a wooden nail stick to score/break the backing foil before use... Will work xx
Oh poop! I was so hoping that worked. The manufacturers seem to be making those packets more difficult to use. I have to get my hubby to open mine, hey ho x
They are very good
I have it and I find it very good and so useful. Maybe you are pushing it to forceful.
My wife had the same problems with this device because she has pain in her fingers. She was gutted too.
Can you pop the foil seal first then push on them to get the device to work? When doing the weekly meds I like to break the foil before popping the pills out, makes it easier for me.
That would be great it really hurts my hands to get pills out especially paracetamol so could you tell me where you get it from and what it's called and how much ? ?
Just a little note regarding returning meds to pharmacy. My pharmacy doesn't have a collection too frequently so sometimes can't accept returns. Just thought I'd mention it in case someone would rather phone and check first. Depends how many you're taking back but don't want to be carrying meds back for nothing.
Those poppers always seem so rubbish. Preferred the days when tablets just came in a bottle. Someone has to do mine for me. Thanks for the review.
Hi Charlie, is there any way to message you privately ?
It works great on tablets just not good for capsules.
I have these pill poppers and they are brilliant but it needs a little practice. 95% of the time things pop out fine. I find with the capsuls occassionally i benf or damage one if the cross isn't fully over the pill.
Maybe I brought the wrong one, it just crushed mine & all the powder came out, I ended with a mess
How's your new house Charlie?
Brilliant device! 🙂 Drug dealer, LOL! That's what I call the man who delivers tablets 🙂
I take Methotrexate that use to come in a bottle but due to cost it now comes in strips. I have to take Ten. The pharmacy told me to buy this which i did.. absolutely useless.
Looks like aybe it works but only for pills of a certain size, not capsules. I hate capsules and luckily I'm not yet physically disabled at all. Capsules sometimes just explode.
If it makes you feel any better I had to ask pharmacy not to give me one specific brand of tablet as I have to break some and one make I simply cannot break. Either that or they needed to break them for me. Scary when I recognised the drugs before you said what they were.
I tried a foot washer for the shower. What a nightmare it was and nearly made me fall over.
I had the same problem with my pill poper. I also have Raynaud's it's a bitch to manage.
Absolute rubish Easier to pop them by hand does not fit to the foil properly
