This journal looked very easy to make but then again you make everything look easy. I would use it to write down quotes, Bible verses, fond memories, prayers, etc. that have special meaning to me. Things that I want to be able to access again or have my children access once I pass on. Thanks for another great tutorial.
Very pretty! I love the idea of gluing the binding. I learn something everyday 😊. My mom is 83 years old and has stage 5 kidney disease. When she leaves the hospital, she will be going into hospice. I would leave it with her so visitors could write something special to her, or she could leave notes about her family. Thank you for being so generous ❤
So pretty. I’d give this to my daughter. Her favorite colors. She loves nature and calls herself a farmer. She wants to teach people how to grow their own garden. She could use this to keep track of all the seeds she is collecting to give to people so they don’t have to purchase seeds for themselves .
Love this little book. I’ll be making these for Christmas gifts for special friends. Hope your friend’s daughter has a speedy recovery! Thank you for sharing all your wonderful ideas!!
Beautiful Journal. I would use it for just what you made it to be a “grateful journal.” My niece who I raised was diagnosed with cancer last year and was doing great. They thought she was cured and then a few months ago she came down with it again and was only given a 45% chance to survive this time because it came back in only five months. She has been in the hospital for three months now and because she has done so well they have raised her chances to 75%. So I would use it for a grateful journal because I’m so grateful. I don’t think I could live without her, she been like a daughter to me, my only child. She’s my world.
My friends daughter was in a serious car accident. With broken vertebrae in her neck and confusion, it will be a long recovery. I think she could use this book to help her in her recovery, remembering what she can those things that make her happy and those things for which she is grateful. Please pray for her!
Absolutely the greatest little gratitude journal around. It would fit in a purse making it portable for Journaling on the go! Filling it with scripture and or prayers makes it a must have! ❤
I absolutely love this book! The no-sew binding is such a creative way to make a book. A gratitude or prayer journal is a wonderful way to present it. Thanks LeNae!
This is so gorgeous! I think it would work as a family gift for an older relative. Everyone writes a letter on a page then give it to grandma or grandpa
Im going to make this as a gratitude journal and give it to the cook at the apartment building I live in. She does a lot for us and I like saying thank you to the people who work here.
I never thought about using kraft paper! I love it! I'd use this for a sign in book and memory book for Thanksgiving. People could write either what they're thankful for or a holiday memory.
I would use it as a gratitude journal, very much like a December Daily Journal. I would journal about everything and everyone for which I am grateful. I would include pictures of nature, family, friends, and embellishments. Your journal is very inspiring. I love your choice of paper. I plan to order a pad.
What a BEAUTIFUL gift. I love the idea of making this a gratitude journal. I lost my husband on Christmas Eve of last year. I also have several friends who have lost someone in that time. I think these would make a perfect gift to encourage my friends through this journey. I have often said that it’s hard to be grateful and depressed at the same time. What a wonderful way to count your blessings. You did a beautiful job on this. Thank you for this video. I can’t wait to make one.
This book is so pretty LeNae. The colors are beautiful and I love how you finished the cover. I can see this being used for so many different things. I love the idea of writing down what you’re thankful for or a travel journal. This would make such a cute gift.
This reminds me of a 1950s wooden photo album my mom picked up years ago at the beach.. it says memories on the front cover.. Love you book, I think I would use it for family photos..
Wow. This is such a beautiful project. The papers you chose are lovely. This would make a great scripture journal for a Bible study or for weekly verses to memorize. It could be used as a prayer journal or a blessings journal. Or you could make this an encouragement book filled with daily promises that you could share with someone needing encouragement. I love this project. Thank you for sharing this. Blessings to you!
What a lovely little book. I have never done a gratitude journal before but I think this would be a wonderful journal to make and use that as! Thanks so much for another beautiful project!
I just watched this video on my tv and I love it. I have lightweight Kraft paper and I love this project. This would be great for a photo book too. I have lunch once a month with friends and it would be a great little gift!
Beautiful! It would make a lovely gratitude journal. I would probably give it to my brother and his wife. He’s just suffered a stroke and something like this would help him through the recovery process. Him and his wife are so thankful he survived (as am I) and they could put Bible verses that mean a lot to them during this trying time as well as prayers and notes of encouragement they’ve received from family and friends. Thanks for all your wonderful ideas for creating meaningful gifts and memories!❤️
I love the gratitude journal idea! On of my daughters and I always try to do a post it a day in November of what we are grateful for but it could totally be done in a book! Love the binding on this book-super easy!
LeNae, you made that bookbinding method look so easy and non-intimidating! Love the additional paper strip accents too. Would make a great gratitude journal 😊
Absolutely love this! I would gift this to my niece. She is pregnant with her first and it would make a nice journal for her. I am eager to attempt one. I’d use it for nature journaling.
Very pretty gratitude journal with the Autumn papers. I would give this to my granddaughter who likes to journal. Thanks for sharing this kind of binding.
Beautiful. Our Women's Prayer group at church have just started a new plan for this month and it is" being grateful " so this is perfect for us. Thank you.
This is beautiful. I would make it into a memory book. I collect stickers and cards from places I have been that make me happy. I would use those with pictures from the visits to those places I've been.
I love your videos. I wait all week to watch them. I love this little journal. I'd like to use it for a family album I could present to my mom for Christmas. She would love it too!! Thanks for sharing!
It turned out beautifully. I think I might use it as a place to put ticket stubs and I could journal a little bit about the show - who I went with, what I liked etc. I could also but my I Voted sticker, date it, thoughts and hopes about the election, etc. I might have a pocket in the back with little embellishments from the papers that I could add later as I filled the book with memorabilia from the year. I suppose it would be a yearbook of sorts. So many possibilities!
What an easy way to bind a journal❣️ My niece journals the happenings in her life and would enjoy having such a pretty journal. Thanks for another great idea 😊
Love this Fall journal. Gorgeous Autumn paper from Paper Wishes. I probably would use this as a travel journal. There's enough pages to add photos and pages to document my vacation. So cute, thank you for sharing. 🌺🍁
