Lots of progress made. Your garden will be happy to have some shade. It’s sad that you need to take measures to keep your equipment safe from thieves. Hope your kitties grow quickly and start earning their keep by keeping the rodents in check. Loved the cooking segment. As always looking forward to your next video.
I love your videos, they are so professional,,,I can not stand videos of people walking around with the camera up against their face,,, only them talking and no views,, your videos had me hooked,,, like one of your fish from the start,, great job 🎉
All I can say I am always impressed with the hard work and determination to get it done. And the heat is not helpful! I love your work and your effort to do the best work possible! Thank you for recording which also adds to all your other work.
You guys are amazing you have cracked on with a lot ,i must admit building using cement and sand etc is labour intensive it can get overwhelming but a good infrastructure in a homestead is an investment for the future do it once and do it well is the way to go, really enjoyable to watch your progress well done
Your commitment is very inspiring. Yr hard work will show Great results it already is. You will sit back one soon and enjoy the fruits of your labour. 🙂 ❤💛💚 your kitten baby girls 😻& yr beautiful Westie 🐕 ❤ yr recipes as well.
Great video, once again a lot of work done. Loved seeing the dog inside the cat enclosure and the kittens snuggling up to the dog, so cute. The garden is coming along so well. Nice to see you dead heading the roses, it improves the plant and makes them flower more. Thanks for the cooking, that was enjoyable. I liked how you made that dish. I will try that myself.
Lots of hard work and it's behind you now, well done. All concrete work is hard work but if the mix was wetter it would be a bit easier for you. Together you both making good progress on your land and it's looking great.
You both work so hard but that is how you achieve the end result. You both should be so proud of yourselves. Cute animals and I think Trixie loves the 2 of you. Remember to have a rest day and be safe. Love from Australia. ❤
Wow you guys worked so hard this week! What a job digging those holes. The garden looks beautiful! Now you need to set up an automated sprinkler system. In your spare time that is!!!! thanks for sharing see you next time.
Just finished watching your video, you both have worked so hard in the hot sun. As I have said before take some time to relax & rest some. I was raised on a farm, married a farmer, which when I was young I said I would never do, lol. Well 58 years in July we will have been Farming. My husband is 78 & I am 76 last of May, he still farms but not so much land as before. But you have chosen a healthy way of life, but do not forget to enjoy along the way. Gee, I am sorry, I probably misspelled your name, but just wanted to tell you, I enjoy the cooking part of the videos too. The kittens are precious and growing so fast. Have a blessed week, and sorry I rambled on a bit. I also watch Pips videos too. Also admire you both for working so hard to get your place just the way you want.
You Guys are looking tired. I know you want to get so much done, but give yourselves a short break.... we need our picnic. That said, everything you've done looks looks amazing ❤❤
Your garden is getting so beautiful...you can always water the ground earlier in the morning before you start ( couple of hours or so) so it loosens it up. That's what we do when we go to weed so they pop out easier.

The two of you work so hard. I am in Australia and we are now in Autumn which is a good season for gardening. The summer is too hot for all that hard outdoor work. Good for you to do this while you are still young. Slowly your reward will be a flourishing garden and a beautiful home.

I'm so sorry your poor neighbor was robbed 😢. First time in 3 years of the watching Centeal Portugal channells i've learned of such a robbery. I hope the crooks are caught. Did your other neighbor say if such things happen with any type of frequency? On the other hand, your projects are coming along 👍🏼. Looking forward to your next updates. Rest and eat well, good people 🤗.
So very encouraging. Please rest. We are not 20 anymore; yep, I’m in that group as well. Persistence, patience and rest is required to complete the journey. I absolutely love your attention to detail. Do not get discouraged. Learning and mistakes are part of the beauty. 🤝💐🙌🏻

My first love in food is some good down home southern United States cooking, but I'm always willing to try other countries dishes, as long as someone else is cooking them! Lol. I am not familiar with a lot of the spices, herbs, flavorings other places use, nor am I interested in experimenting or learning. All that said, that food was fantastic looking. Food like that would make any man do anything you wanted! Well, maybe after a short siesta first after eating. Lovely food, girl.
Quick note.. I’m not sure what type of concrete mix is available to you there, but in the U.S. we have a concrete called pre- mix, and you just pour it dry right in the hole around your post, then just wet it down with water and let it set! No need to mix it in the wheel barrow. Much faster and easier! I think it will be a helpful way to get more done! Keep up the good work! Luv you guys!
It is available in the UK as well, not so sure about here, anyways we have bought 2 cubic metres of gravel and one cubic meter of sand previously, so had to mix it ourself 🙂
Love your channel guys, lots of hard work to create paradise. Have a think about investing some money in a long handle shovel/spade. Short handled ones are too much hard work. Believe me I know this, as I have been an underground miner for 35 years lol.
Another great video. I meant to comment last week when you were talking about a cover for your water. If you watch real algarve living he (Andy) made a cover in wood. What has happened to the brown neighbours dog? He had a wound on his side. Carry on making interesting videos, I’m enjoying watching from Bulgaria.
The SDS drills you are using, seems like you are putting too much pressure on the drill, strangely they work better when you put light pressure on the drill bit. Try it. Also don't use horse manure on your edible plants (fruit and veg), horses get given very strong medications and in very high doses, which will be absorbed by the plants, which you do not want to eat. Also I would consider irrigation tube, and automate as much as you can, otherwise you will be nackered carrying buckets of water all over the place. Keep up the great videos ;)
Obviously the 25mm drill bit is a bit too much for that drill to be used on solid granite, but it is what it is 😄 regarding the horse manure we will find out 👍
Hi, would you guys be able to share some information about living costs - not food/clothes but water/gas/electric/any taxes? that would be very helpful.
Hi, we are completely off grid so don’t have any bills, there would be a land tax at the end of the year, but not so sure yet what it’s going to be, will update when know more about it
@@portugalitisOK, yeah that makes sense - the benefit of off grid eh 👍 - couple of questions then - how you dealing with toilet siutuation and what are the long term plans for housing - i see the caravan, but whats the bigger picture? personal question - what savings are you working from and whats the long term financial plan / pensions/work etc? sorry for the personal questions 🙂

i would set up some mice traps where u storing the sofa or the little critters will nest in it.
Strangely there are no mice 🐭 in there, might be a snake nesting nearby or something else keeping them away
Mice may not be there now, but the fibers in or the structure within your furniture can attract them.

I would suggest the one that is sunken down, to remove the cement and some of the dirt so that when it rains, the water will not sit in a hole.
