I live in a teeny tiny studio apartment in Bakersfield California. During the summer time we quite often have brownouts and my apartment is made in such a way that the kitchen and bathroom especially the bathroom are really dark My bathroom is basically pitch Black without lights. I have used pool lights to creat temporary lighting for such times. I love your idea and then drop one of these lights into unit (light facing plastic cover) A remote control turns them on!

Yes, putting some battery operated Led lights inside so the light shines upward would create interesting patterns and textures on the wall! Great use of materials! Have a great weekend!

You make the most beautiful things. You should get those pink silicone finger covers in Dollar Tree's craft section..like 4-5 per pack so when you work with your hot glue gun it wont burn your fingers and get on your nails. Thank you again and stay safe and well.

I love it! It gives me an idea for a corner in my 140 yr. old apartment. Of course, back in the old days walls were plastered soooooo the corners look rather janky. I tried running a strip of an adhesive tape on some of the corners and after cold winters and hot summers it was still lookin' janky. Hopefully a 'wall flower' is the help I need. Plastered walls are sturdy and sound, but I'll be doggone, they're not very friendly to hanging things and cracking. Thanks Tri-D! You must have heard me think'n.
