- So... you're dating Jessie, a werewolf. She hasn't been a wolf long, and she doesn't have a lot of self-control (in wolf form or otherwise). Can you two make this work? Come along on this multidimensional adventure to find out whether love can really stand the test of time (and the Council).
Now you can take Jessie along with you on a road trip - this is the full eight episodes all in a single TH-cam video!

There is no new content in this audio; it's just a different way to present it (so maybe you can have fewer ads). It is the first series I ever completed, so the audio can be a bit rough at times. Any mistakes are mine.

@MaladaptiveDaydream Thinking abt it, I think you're the only person I've seen completely finish the script. I remember hearing Eastgates Audio take on the script around a year ago, though it isnt complete iirc. It's been a while, so I've forgotten the names of the other VA's scriptfills that I've heard. i think there was like 4 others?

If only she realized, I'm not human anymore. That night, someone, no, something found me. It drained and Turned me. It's better that she doesn't know I'm alive. I'm A Monster, and in breaking her curse, I've become the Monster. It's better this way.
I really enjoyed this, but i kept getting distracted from the whole romance drama aspect of things by how blatantly awful the council is.
Seriously, they're evil! Even IF you assume that all the "everybody will forget you," "nobody ever breaks the curse," ect stuff is all a lie - something we never get any confirmation of - they're still deliberately causing a massive amount of stress and angst for essentially no reason!
Lets assume that theyre not powerful enough to break the curse on their own, even though thats implied, and both parties genuinely do have to be willing to sacrifice whatever for eachother. Why the fuck does that need dragging out the idea that one of them is dead or something? Hell, that sounds more like something that needs to be carefully curated to each couple!
Jesse thought that she could bargain with them by using herself as a fucking supernatural hitman! That didnt sound like paranoia! That sounded like the Council genuinely runs around murdering people and monsters and apparently erasing people from existence! For what?! To keep the supernatural a secret? Why?!
Possibly time for a revolution!

I'm a bit of a sucker for romance and only recently discovered/realized audio roleplays like this were a great source for them. I had expected the lack of a voice for the "listener" to remove any real sense of investment for me, but instead - at least on the better written scripts - it's felt like something of a challenge to cobble together an accurate picture of the unvoiced side from the plot and how the voice actor says their lines.
Kind of like a puzzle in audio form.
@@DaJackCracker That's just how I felt about them too when I started listening to them! I enjoy figuring out what I'd do or say in certain situations. Unfortunately, that usually turns out to be a few too many "your mom" jokes.

Look, Catherine, I told you I can't be with her. I'm dangerous. I wish I could, but the Hunters would come for both of us. And even if she wasn't killed by the Hunters, I'd lose Control, and Drain her. My Bloodlust would be too great. I doubt she could break the Curse for both of us. It's better off, if I make myself scarce. I can't hide this Animal inside of me.
