Alphabet is amongst the best stock in Nasdaq but it is at an unbelievable low price. Not sure why (probably accumulation phase). Probably an impulsive big upward move is just around the corner.
Been in and out of Google and am back in. It's back on an uptrend at least for now. And i do believe in the Company without question. Also, beginning to look at Apple though I've never invested in Apple before. Please make a similar vid on Apple if you are so inclined. Thanks for the good work. Anytime such a company's valuation is reasonable, as you say. It's a good time to start nibbling.
Yeah I always update each stock’s intrinsic value based on the latest earnings at least once or twice every quarter. My latest IV for Google is around $178/share.
Victor, my $WSM position is now up over 140% in almost a year. I'd love to get your opinion on the long term prospects of the company. I have no desire to sell even though its above my intrinsic value calculation as I think it can grow into it long term but it would be good to see more companies outside large cap tech analysed on this channel. Other companies include $UFPI and Aktore.
Very interesting watch. PE under 20 with this growth, this strong buybacks and 111B in the bank - it's dirt cheap. Will probabely buy the youtube premium to get rid of the adds.
Yeah, it’s the most undervalued one compared to the magnificent seven stocks. Gotta be greedy when others are fearful. I believe the market is just overreacting to Google Gemini’s issues and Google being behind in AI vs OpenAI and Microsoft. Btw, I cancelled Netflix and I just keep TH-cam Premium:)
I like it - Google is clearly undervalued on the surface. One potential bear case that may weigh down on valuations is potential anti-trust lawsuits being brought aganst Google for anti-competitive practices with Google search.
Good question. I used two valuation models (a simplified DCF model and a forward PS model) to calculate Google’s intrinsic value, so not just the forward PS valuation model. For the forward PS model, I looked around Google’s PS multiple over the past 5 to 7 years. I used the “median function” instead of the average function to calculate a reasonable PS multiple. Then I used Google’s forward revenue to estimate its fair value.
buying after that will be missing the boat my friend, shouldn't you buy when everyone else is fearful and holding/ selling when the greed is high. just my 2 cents

Great video. Has the intrinsic value changed since you made this video 5 months ago?

@@TheIntelligentInvestor Thanks! I was getting sad because my current average is around 162,5.

Yeah I think that’s why they’re holding a lot of cash.
Could u do a analysis on Brookfield Coporation BN
Hi does your Patreon teach us how to value/assess companies?
Yup you’ll learn about how to value stocks, how to calculate their intrinsic values, and other investing tutorial videos.
Never underestimate the ability of multi-trillion dollar companies who understand their issues to fight for their survival.
Yeah, same applies to Apple too.
Thanks
What's the rationale of calculating the intrinsic value with P/S method? How does it work? Using historic avg?

@@TheIntelligentInvestor Great thanks. Why do you prefer the P/S multiple? Why not the P/E? Just asking, thanks
Do intel!!
No my friend:)
AI hallucinations are fascinating. Do the creators of these models know how they arise?
I’m not sure…
You might as well buy a turtle and watch it crawl, same growth as google 😂😂😂
Will buy GOOGL once this CEO is fired. He is out of his depth.
And so will millions of others. Google will be up 10% by the time you wake up on that faithful day.
Who knows, but Sergey Brin (one of the Google co-founders) is back working at Google again.
this is your opportunity to buy because these blunders are creating opportunities for you
