This will most probably be my next lens. Very fast, very fast autofocus, relatively light, great colours and contrast, and very versatile - probably more versatile than it's 50mm sibling.
2:20 and 2:24 images of the jewellery are really selling me this lens, that and the work of Noriaki Fukushima is outstanding.
I use an EF 35mm f/2.0 IS USM on my 1Ds MKII and on my EOS R the RF 35mm f/1.8 STM. The world from a 35mm perspective is amazing its almost the only lens you'll need. Almost.
Amazing photos
thanks for your test

At 4:20 Noriaki clearly states he asks people if he can take photos of them and they gladly accepted. The very idea of asking is very difficult for so many younger photogs is sad. Instead they trespass to take photos, they jump fences and open gates to take photos, they ignore signs and rules to take photos which invariably makes people upset at everyone that has a camera.
...and all you have to do is ask politely.
🤦♂
Nice!
Waiting on Nikon to keep up with lenses.
I always have a strap on my camera, and that always goes around my neck or on my shoulder, unless the camera is on a tripod or a studio stand.
Das Objektiv ist ein Grund zu Sony zu wechseln! Canon hat mich mal wieder enttäuscht!
If the focus is so great... why use a ri with a focus wheel on a fly by wire lens lmao ?
