Hi Chris, Great video. I like being able to add pouches to the outside of a pack, lets you have easy access to important things. Your fire kit give away is a real neat way to have one. Does it work like this, it gets sent around and each person adds something to it and sends it to the next? Great concept indeed! That was one odd looking rabbit sitting next to you! I hate camelbaks, damn carpenter ants chewed through mine a few years ago, now I have a 72ounce Giant whisky flask I use. Awesome pack man, I may have to check 1 out for myself

Hi, i have a problem, basically that rubbery waterproof parts of inside leave some sticky marks on things like bottles. Do you know how to fix this maybe? Thanks.
You were correct that is an Army specific pack, and the pattern is ACU, I served in BDUs and then Marine Corps digitals in the Corps and then in the Army I wore BDUs then had to switch to ACU and I think ACU is the ugliest pattern ever invented. Those old alligator clips suck, they either jam or get too loose if used too much, not sustainable without replacing, so not INCH sustainable. Haha thats not "Vietnam era", thats the stuff from the 80s and 90s we used until the new post 9-11 gear came out. Until we got the the new post 9-11 gear we were even using some stuff from the 80s in the Corps, it was a bit rediculous but I joined January 2001 so I was too boot to understand that. THE ALICE PACK IS A LEGEND! The Alice pack was in service from the Vietnam war to the early 2000s, almost half a century with only slight variation. I have alot of different packs but I got a soft spot for the ALICE pack, I think most vets do.

Chris don't cut the back plate out, that is the support for your back it works like the old frame for the alice. Do what you want its your pack just my thoughts.
