    Great review buddy! You've got a new follower. I have driven harrier ( XT plus MT 2021 Feb) for at least 40,000 kms. The Cons I would like to recapitulate for potential buyers.
    1. Visibility is an issue, You'll get used to it after a while. Go for front parking sensors as an Accessory from TATA.
    2. Steering is super sensitive at high speeds. Needs a bit more weight
    3. Rear suspension is a little bumpy as compared to Safari (but not as bumpy as Fortuner 😄)
    4. Buy the AT instead of MT, the left knee touches the Dashboard if the seat is adjusted other than its lowest settings.
    5. Audio system other than the top variants is very average
    6. The touchscreen needs significant improvements
    7. The NVH levels are good (Comparing it to my Fortuner AT)
    8. Steering makes groaning noise when steered fully, It is due to the Pressure of the steering pump (But I didn't like it being a 25lakh car )
    9. The AC console has an irritating rattling sound, But it isn't there all the time so I ignore it. Didn't want my dashboard dismantled so ignored it. (It is with my vehicle only)
    8. The car pulls left. Even after multiple alignments. But the good thing is the tires are in good condition despite the left pull.
    9. The cold starts sounds like a tractor
    10. The lights are very average, Had to upgrade my foglamps to Bi-Xenon projectors.
    But everything vanishes when you start driving the vehicle, It's a mile muncher. I would suggest waiting if they launch something new for the harrier and the safari in the upcoming Auto expo 2023. Cheers !

    • @KKCOnAMotive
      @KKCOnAMotive  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@vivekmalkan6326 - I personally wanted to buy the Harrier last year at launch but unfortunately the detuned engine felt restricted and didnt impress me let alone the other niggles of the car. Plus an A/T was missing so finally waited for the Kia & picked the Seltos GTX+ DCT. Being a Turbo Petrol DCT it is a very engaging product i also like all the features both the cars offer but the Kia has an edge in overall kit levels & finesse. Harrier has its advantages like the LR genetics, space and an overall more SUV like feel. Between the 2 Diesel A/T id pick the Harrier A/T as its more powerful & offers more car per buck. But one can pick according to the personal preference, needs. All the best. Regards !

    Hi Karan ,
    Another BHPian this side
    Good review . Loved the swot analysis and the research on Gearbox as this will help the folks not to go for remap as the maximum torque rating is 360 NM . In weakness we can include after sales and constant niggles . I think the fit and finish and other QC issues are due to the manufacturing of Harrier in Pimpri plant rather than in Ranjangaon . Nexon has less issues compared to Harrier

      Hi Nitin, thanks. Always good to have BHPians comment on TH-cam. Yes the research on the gearbox took time/effort but was worth it as strangely it wasnt mentioned by anyone yet. Also good point on Pimpri/Ranjangaon manufacturing. Regards !

    Brother I have seen a video from a Tata harrier automatic owner that there is no way to open the boot from inside in the harrier which makes it inconvenient during mall security checks ! Is it true?

    • @carguy3097
      @carguy3097 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Boot us linked with the Central locking system and so is the fuel lid. So if you unlock the doors, the boot and the fuel lid will also be unlocked and you can press the electro-magnetic button (below tata logo) and open it. So because of this, there is no button inside the cabin to open that.
      Hope this helps:)

      Hi Manu, i personally wanted to buy the Harrier last year at launch but unfortunately the detuned engine felt restricted and didnt impress me let alone the other niggles of the car. Plus an A/T was missing so finally waited for the Kia & picked the Seltos GT+ A/T. Being a Turbo Petrol DCT it is a very engaging product i also like all the feaures both the cars offer but the Kia has an edge in overall kit levels & finesse. Harrier has its advantages like the LR genetics, space and an overall more SUV like feel. Hence one can pick according to the personal preference, needs.
      All the best.

    Amazing review! I’m finalising the XZA+ Harrier next week.
    The infotainment screen seems to be flickering in your review as compared to the Instrument cluster screen.
    Was there an issue with this model or is it because of the video recording?
    I saw similar screen flickering issues on team-BHP.

    • @KKCOnAMotive
      @KKCOnAMotive  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Ashish, Thanks !
      Well the flicker is not there in real time/life its just there in the video/recording which too is very strange and surprising as it doesnt occur with other cars in my other review videos.
      However congratulations on your buy decision & all the best.
      Regards !

    • @satyenarke
      @satyenarke 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nothing to worry about that flickering @ashish. It is due to the difference in the refresh rates of the screen and the video camera. This phenomenon can be also be observed in various other videos too, specially with DRLs.
