Only a few items! What I am actually wearing is still mostly jeans and thinner layers because SF isn't super warm this time of year. We have indian summers so our warm weather comes more towards August. However, I still wanted to do a lookbook to hopefully give some style inspo. 💃

Thanks Sherry! The name comes from the metaphor of the acorn. Which about ten years ago God started showing me that similar to the acorn which has everything that it needs within it to become a mighty oak tree, he has already packed everything that I would need to thrive inside of my spirit. I believe we all already have everything we need within our unique design and we just need to uncover it or unpack it. When I was looking for confidence I knew that it wasn't going to come to me from something external, but that I needed to uncover it within myself. Much of the lessons we learn in life are shedding the heavy layers that the world and people try to put on us, and going back to our roots- remembering who we really are before all of that stuff happened to us. 💛
I actually don't feel the most comfortable in short shorts especially now that I am 33. But since I don't have any other jean shorts right now I wore them because I thought the outfit called for it. Im definitely on the look out for some jean shorts that aren't as tight though. As far as an eating video goes... It wouldn't be very interesting! I hate cooking. When I cook I mostly roast veggies. Roasted broccoli is my all time favorite and a good alternative to fries! Seriously! Chop a head of broccoli up drizzle with olive oil and salt and pepper and pop in the oven at 425F for 25 mins. It's so good! So when I am eating healthy I do veggies like that and steak or chicken. I love sweet potatoes. And I have a serious sugar addiction so when I start craving sugar I try to eat a piece of fruit and it really helps! Lots of oranges! Not a lot of bread but I do like pasta and I love mexican food! But if we go out to mexican food I try not to eat too many bowls of chips and I get a chicken tortilla soup which is less greasy than tacos. 🤷🏼♀️☺️

I learned when thrifting it is better to buy if you are not quite sure (and the store is not far away). If you leave the ticket on and have your receipt most places, like Goodwill, can let you exchange the item for something else. Only exception is if it is a 'final sale'' item.I still remember a men's all linen shirt I debated about, went back for it, and it was gone.
My mum took out of storage the nicest linen blazer from the 80. A vintage piece she cherished so much that she keept it all this years even if it doesn't fit. I tried it on and I almost tore it apart hulk-style. What can I do???
