    ... do that on the joint between the shaft and the blade. evething breaks... I have 2 quickblades and very happy with them (I used to have 3 O_o) haahhaha

    Silly question, but if you know how to break it, why not but something in the weave to at least prevent a catastrophic failure?
    I'm new to SUP and hope to one day own my very own QB paddle. Looks like to know your stuff and I like your story. Keep it up.

    what about getting it wedged between 2 rocks then the side of the canoe (on a brace or turn)? Someone said they broke it in WW like that...

    Didn't quite get this... so fibreglass better than carbon for not breaking after being smacked ?
