Great catch up and I love seeing Richard with you. Your love shines through. Am excited to read about 1 skein projects.
Thanks Susan!
I love it when Richard is on the podcast! What a great duo the two of you make.
Thanks so much!
Yay Richard! Always a pleasure and Emily, you have the best smile and laugh!
So kind of you!
I love the one skein scarf!
Thanks!
Love the two of you together
Thanks!!
The mini color changing socks looks like unicorn cake 👍
Love your Workday Scarf…such a cheery color. My favorite one skein fingering projects are the Spindrift Shawl and the Close to You Scarf. Favorite one skein DK project is the Classic Ribbed Hat by Purl Soho. Favorite one skein worsted project is the Bankhead Hat.
All excellent recommendations!
Hats! Or fingerless mitts. I usually knit socks with my fingering weight so I search for hat and glove patterns for dk weight. I live in South Texas so I don't wear worsted weight.
Both are so fun to make!
You should name your sock pattern 'After the Flood' they are so pretty!
Thank you for the idea!!
That would be a great name. ❤
I love the scarf !! We’re did you find the pattern for that?
Just on Ravelry. The link is in the description of this episode. It’s called Workday Scarf.
I’ll be brave and put this out there. I’ve only ever had one book boyfriend, Frank Hardy! Yes, I read all the Hardy Boys mysteries. Then when the TV series came out and they cast Parker Stevenson… yep. Book boyfriend for sure. Ah, to be 13 again. 😆😆😆
@@wendysolomon1608 13 is the best age to have a book boyfriend!
Just found your podcast!!! Placed my first yarn order and can't WAIT to receive and see what the July color way is!!!
Thanks for joining me!
Love your podcast especially when you’re together ❤️❤️
We like that too!
My one skein patterns are Changing Staircases by Dragon Hoard Designs (free) and Asbury Park by Sarah Punderson ($5). I have done both several times for gift knitting.
Those are both great! I've also made Changing Staircases.
I love the Jessica Jones Cowl for 1 skein of fingering weight. It's very simple & you can use up the whole skein. I'm working on my third one. 🙂
Nice! I’ll check it out!
You could name you new sock pattern “Helio” means Sun… and you socks with a dash of rainbow 🌈
Fun idea!
The blessing of a good marriage. It is so obvious how much the two of you enjoy time with each other ;-)
We are very blessed!
Your husband is awesome!!! He should join more often, Thanks
I'll pass that along!
Looking forward to the sock and TShirt patterns!
Thanks! They are taking me a while. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
My favorite 1 skein project is the Musselburgh hat. I have made 8 of them. Some with 1 skein and some with 2 different 50 gram skeins. I enjoy your podcast and your work is beautfiiful.
I've only knit two. It's a very enjoyable pattern!
I love your crochet blanket and may do something like this to use up my scraps. However I'm wondering how you launder it if you are using wool yarns. I love your podcast...Thanks!
I use wool for almost everything I make. For my other two blankets like this I wash them in cold on delicate in my washing machine and then lay them out to dry along the back of the couch.
Love your yellow scarf but I love yellow
@@saltcityknits Good to know. That has held me back from a wool scrappy blanket, I didn't know how you "hand" wash a large project like a blanket. Thanks for letting us know your method.
@@bernadetteg-t535 it also helps to pay attention to which yarns you use. The vast majority of my scraps are superwash yarns.
I think that is what I'll try too. I was worried about felting, but still will wash it soak and then hang. Thanks for your reply!
