I think this is something that's really a misunderstanding about us. It's not that we're hard to pin down, we just want to be with the right person... make the right decision because (at least me) get attached quickly & relationships are a lot of work! I put a lot into it & wanna know the person is worth it. That's all. If I get an inkling of a "potential" problem, I'm gonna pull back to think & observe more. Yes, we are not sure what to do when we love, so true. No words at all, complete shut down of all things witty to say, it can't be described and is SO uncomfortable. We DONT know what to do, and it makes us so awkward and amplifies our anxiety. It's hard and uncomfortable and we avoid it. (Usually makes for a funny story to some random person later!!) Not being tied down is usually more fun anyways and in most every experience it's been a disappointment because we spend way to much time with said relationship way too quickly, and find what we don't like too soon and drop them like a hat. To shed light on your scenario, I'll first start off by saying that I am a Gemini (with Cancer traits, as my birthday is Jun 20. Cusp rider). The male Gemini friends of yours that suddenly stopped being or trying to be involved with you felt as though their interest in you wasn't reciprocated. As you said so yourself, you've had boyfriends (or a boyfriend at the time), so in their minds, they try their best to maintain friendship. Ultimately, it wouldn't last, because us Gemini men have the ultimatum of Yes or No; on or off. Most Gemini, if not all, are emotionally intense because we've experienced some highs and lows in life, and because of that, our judgment becomes one or the other. Also, if a Gemini feels as though they're expending a lot of effort and not being given enough or the same in return, we do away. We cut it off in a single second.

And never led them on in any way or made them think I had any interest in taking our relationship to a romantic level. I am quite deep, actually draining deep, though I feel as If I resonate only in the throat chakra, and express my higher divine knowledge only through expression, and very little feeling. Yes, we are not sure what to do when we love, so true. No words at all, complete shut down of all things witty to say, it can't be described and is SO uncomfortable. As you said so yourself, you've had boyfriends (or a boyfriend at the time), so in their minds, they try their best to maintain friendship. Ultimately, it wouldn't last, because us Gemini men have the ultimatum of Yes or No; on or off. Most Gemini, if not all, are emotionally intense because we've experienced some highs and lows in life, and because of that, our judgment becomes one or the other.
Also, if a Gemini feels as though they're expending a lot of effort and not being given enough or the same in return, we do away. We cut it off in a single second.

Just now saw this. :) I'm a Sag sun and rising is what I meant. What I don't understand is how they cannot apparently differentiate between friend and lover? I don't usually blur those lines. And never led them on in any way or made them think I had any interest in taking our relationship to a romantic level. So they really would rather lose a good friend and become bitter if their strictly platonic friend does not reciprocate their romantic feelings? That seems incredibly infantile and unfairly demanding. It's not my fault they couldn't control their emotions. Romance was never in the cards for us. Thanks for your response.

I am quite deep, actually draining deep, though I feel as If I resonate only in the throat chakra, and express my higher divine knowledge only through expression, and very little feeling. Somehow I still feel that my thoughts stem from some form of depth to think in such volumes of depth, if this makes sense. Everything must be spoken if only felt first. I also Have much water in my chart, this may speak many layers and volumes about who I am at core beyond the light and approachable surface, I find myself very distanced in thought and deep, always contemplating philosophy and re-teaching the ways of the world, where our planet end wrong etc... I am also a poet, spiritualist and artist/writer. maybe this has something to do with the close connection of water in my visible chart. Your thoughts?
