France really lacks here and there and the testing of new players. Tbh I think France plays better when Jaminet at the back instead of Ramos. Offers more in attack. Ramos plays as a 10 for Toulouse and looks lacks the counter attacking pace from the back.

I watched the game in a packed Irish pub in Paris - It was an incredible team performance from Ireland - I was pleasantly surprised as I really thought the French would triumph but they were not their usual selves and that French flair was missing - Their lack of control in aggression was telling leading to that red card which proved very costly - I give my thanks the French rugby fans who whilst disappointed were very gratuitous in defeat - Ireland and France have a big rivalry in rugby but both countries really like each other as we share a certain Gaelic attitude to life - Hats off to the Irish rugby boys who were magnificent getting their biggest win against France on French soil - Also Ireland's Under-20s seal the Irish double in France on Saturday in another totally awesome game so the future looks Green all round.

Razzle developed his coaching nous when he was at Munster, working with Felix Jones and Jerry Flannery, Felix Jones was clearly the mastermind behind SA winning the WC, now Razzie has Jerry Flannery coaching SA, so he obviously needs the genius that Irish coaches provide. Much of the talk here is that Neinaber's defensive tactics might have a negative effect on Irelands attack. Interesting that SA now Jaco Pyper (referee) likely to find ways of deceiving refs more often.

The BEST team in the Northern Hemisphere - Ireland was superb in qwick attack - Not waiting for the opposition to come to them as some side's constantly do .. Great ball handling and creativity in their overall performance and well deserved try's .. France I found was Very Disappointing as they really struggled & looked as if they didn't want to be there most of the game 🙄 😕 ... But well done Ireland 👏

I have to be honest I thought Ireland would struggle away to France as we have a notoriously poor track record away to France. I am so happy to be proven wrong. That is a huge win for Ireland. It might be cheeky to say but I would wager Ireland would have still won against 15 men. They looked very composed and their lineouts were impeccable.

Lmaoooooo. Been saying for so long now since the RWC that people are overhyping the French and seems to have forgotten the insane run the Irish was on before the semi final loss. I am proudly a South African supporter but even I will admit that even though we won the World Cup I do think that the Irish is still the number 1 team in the world regardless. But people for some reason forgot their dominance and I am so glad they reminded everyone very quickly on. Be aware all.

France starting from scratch again: almost the whole staff has changed, the federation ist bankrupt, the second row is decimated. loads of key players missing, and Galthié clinging on antiquated principles. This tournament needs to be a transition now : launch young players, change the tactics, build something new.
What a Week it's been for Ireland Rugby, their women's rugby 7s make history winning their 1st cup final in Perth, the Irish men's 7s finishing 3rd, followed by this convincing win over France.
And just heard Munster has beaten the Canterbury Crusaders.
And the Under 20s beat France in the U20 Six Nations.

Only a few months ago in the opening game of the RWC they comfortably beat the All Blacks.
Likely they would have beaten the Springboks if Kolbe didn’t pull off that blocking of Ramos kick
But here again on home soil they took took a long time to get in the swing of it, and only had bursts playing to their recent level

This has nothing to do with Schmidt. Its all Farrell. Schmidt had us playing boring predictable rugby. He overstayed his welcome in 2019 when we were found out in our very first game against England.

You didn't win due to inexperience and over celebrating, I see that's not changed. South Africa's always composed after a win,draw or loss. The Springboks win when it's absolutely necessary.

The TMO chickened out of it. That was a straight red the first shoulder to the head. That TMO should never work again.
Tadhg Byrnes try, the delayed disguised short pass by Crowley was brilliant. At the time i thought it was just awful defending because i didnt actually see the pass live, i think everyones eyes (including mine) had moved away from Byrne thinking he had overrun and would not receive the ball, also Byrnes inward running angle opened a massive gap outside him where Lowe and Henshaw had looped around and looked like the main attacking threat, that half second pass delay and the widening gap outside forced Danty to take a half step out, Crowleys quick look back to James Lowe, it looked like Byrne had already run ahead of Crowley and the defenders were just shifting their focus across to the second line when the almost sleight-of-hand pass was suddenly in Byrnes hands and he has was galloping free. Worth re-watching the subtle elements of that pass again. That try involved so much more than what i saw live. Kind of sums up Irelands attack, never quite sure where the ball is going, options all over the place and defenders end up slightly out of position, attackers tend to get hit with soft shoulders allowing them to get over the gain line nearly every time.
The next proper test for Ireland will be in South Africa ;-)
