For some members of the Mujahideen, cinema was seen as a necessary tool of documentation to transmit knowledge on the battlefields and to the next generation.
But as the Mujahideen took over Kabul in 1992, Afghan film faced an uncertain future.

Martyr Massoud + Professor Rabbani were about to form a government that worked for the people until the dog Gulbaddin Hekmatyar decided to reign rockets over Kabul killing many in the process and flattening a city. It only proves my point when the dog is still alive whilst the others have either been martyred or exiled.
Massoud was not a hero, neither the other Mujhadieen commanders. There forces were thieves when they started the Civil War. But the biggest dog was Gulbadin.

What sign an agreement with the occupiers? Even the mujahedeen who fought against the soviets didn't do that.
