Fantastic--love how short and to-the-point this was. Told and showed me what I needed and nothing else. Checked my filter, and sure enough, it's filthy. Already ordered the replacement :).
I did get it done and those clips stink. I think one thing about the removal that I might know is that you can't have the glove box all the way open. The video mentions that on the re-assembly, but I think it's a problem in the removal, too. I used a screwdriver to pry the clips out enough to get my fingers on it.
If the side piece ever messes up (the plastic snappers) just make a little hole and put a tack to hold it up. The little plastic piece snapped off for me
Looks like the Elantra has a slightly better design than the Sonata. I have a 2008 Sonata, and the filter cover has clips on both ends, and both clips are broken so it is a real chore to get that cover off.
Tip: Do NOT hold the glove box drawer all the way open when you are removing the tabs. You will be pushing those rubber stops against the edge of the cabinet on the inside and making them impossible to remove. If you close the drawer a bit (as you can see being done, although it's not specifically mentioned) when removing the tabs, they'll come out much easier. (2010 Elantra Blue)
Very useful, the poor cabin air filter is often neglected!
three videos in one day ? AWESOME!
Look at the direction of the pleats in the filter that was removed, now look at the direction of the pleats when installing the new filter.

In Australia this is on other side of car but these videos show you how to do things easily.
Do you guys not have a horizontal flip button on you tube? We get that option under settings in US when watching videos from Australia
Changing mine tomorrow thanks to this info.
