I'm voice coaching for the actors in the dramatic society that I 'm a member of. This video will be of enormous benefit to my efforts. I am aiming for accuracy and consistency. The accent is a part of the setting because when the audience hears everybody speaking the Cockney accent, they are immediately transported to London. I am confident that they can do it. This is a start.amd will make a valuable contribution.

This is my accent and one thing I'd say is we speak quite quickly which works with the accent, Ethan Hunt for instance would basically sound like one word. When the accent is spoken slowly by non native speakers it's easier to tell. The slower we speak the more likely we are to put a few more letters back in ;)

Trying to learn the cockney accent because I made a rapping orc bard character in DnD and a bunch of other people are using posher accents. I wanted to use something that'd fit his personality better. As an American who's heard more "traditional" English accents all his life it's tricky to wrap my head around but it's also pretty fascinating.

I grew up around some people with the Cockney accent. It’s sort of disappearing in London and is really only prevalent still among the older generation. I don’t have it (and neither does my mum, uncle or aunt) and yet most of my older family (grandparents, great aunts and uncles) do.

Hello brother, I have seen your videos about the cockney accent and I really would like to learn to speak English but I only speak Spanish and I want to pay for a course to speak with a cockney accent. The reason is that I am a Mexican living in the United States and I hate racism and its accent that my Mexican race has against me. I love cockney culture and obviously London. This movie and "This is England" inspired me to be able to speak English but I don't want to speak an American accent, I want to speak real English. What tips do you recommend to start talking cockney? I was thinking of starting with the Lingoda course, but what more tips do you suggest?
