New shop looks great. Simple, but a prime location and mechanics you trust. The 240, your driving and your confidence in what your doing has come a long way. Props Content > Cheezy Clickbait titles you never needed anyway. Keep killing it. Cant wait to see what you do next on the 240.
Hi Emelia, I enjoy your videos, it's great to see someone with such enthusiasm about cars, drifting, etc. I was wondering why you disconnected the "+" terminal, rather than the "-", unless your car's electrical system is positive ground, rather than negative. It's always safe practice to disconnect the ground cable (in most cars, the negative one) because not only does it completely stop the flow of electrons (i.e. power), but also because when you re-secure the terminal you won't short out things & cause a spark next to the battery if you accidentally contact a metal part of the body with the wrench when tightening the terminal. The ground "-" cable should always be the only one removed unless replacing the battery or cleaning that terminal. Even in that case or whenever working on the vehicle the "-" should always be the first cable to be disconnected & the last to be reconnected. A great project would be to put an outside electrical cut off switch on the car so you don't have to remove a terminal & for safety in case of a crash. Thanks for reading this & best wishes in working on your baby, making videos & drifting!
#ECREW IN THE HOUSE!! Don't let anyone stop you from completing your goals. Also stay gorgeous Emelia and maybe some new bumpers and maybe a side skirt for the 240. Just to clean it up a bit after you get it finished mechanically of course. Also I want to hear the LS SCREAMING and Tire Shredding soon.
Best advice I can give you is. Missile Day and a few tandem runs. That'll solve that pesky axle problem straight away. Provided your friends love rubbing up next to your car and leaving tyre marks.
AAA really needs to get with the times. Before the Internet and smart phones became prevalent, they came in handy for vacation planning. These days, all they really provide is roadside assistance and a lot of insurance companies offer than too. I'm sure it wouldn't have been a three hour wait if you didn't need a flatbed, probably wouldn't have been hassled about the end location either. I carried AAA's RV plus service for years for my ZR1, it provided a greater towing range than the standard plan. Since I would take it from Ohio to a ZR1 specialist in Chicago for service, I didn't want it towed just anywhere. Good luck with your build.
ok ....hello from the east coast! ...been a long summer of trying to get hay done... hot -rain-cold-rain-hot-rain-cold-hot then the summer is over!...now my fun...lol...the red 05 dodge ram turbo exhaust casing rusted through! time for a new turbo! got it all apart and found rusted out heater core water lines, bad steering shaft u-joints, rear drive shaft u-joint...omg! got to it have done before the snow flies!
Been there , thank of what I have to go thru with a electric time attack /street car . Put in a locker so you can drive it on the street . Dream shop , you go girl !!
Show roll cage install, maybe a switch panel for all the necessities? Delete all excess wiring. And also some street fraction door cards or something like that #becauseracecar.
How do You like Willow? I fell in love with that track like ages ago after seeing it in some random car video, then saw it in Best Motoring episode. Since then I saw/drove most of the tracks in my country, learned a lot about circuts around the world, but I would still like to move from Europe to live near Willow for a few years.
was that the middle finger to the pri pri i saw? so unladylike! (ok, i admit, i LOVED IT! :D) NAOKI!!!!!!!! i'm loving the fact that Drift 101 and Naoki are being so groovy to let you use his shop at the track, that is a true cool dude right there that is true to supporing the drifting lifestyle and new comers, THAT is what it's about, community! plus you are right there at a track so shakedowns will take less time to do plus practice! can't wait to see what comes next girl! stay safe and sideways! #DriftGirl #ECREW
Well first of all you need to slow down the fast forward in those Daisy Dukes, second of all you need a car club with a trailer ,triple AAA just use any garage they can get.You need a car club that moves race cars.Or a car friend with a trailer ,not triple AAA. And alot of car guys are into guitars and you had two or three behind you, take them out of cases, show them off.I always have an electric in my garage to plug in and play some Stevie Ray Vaughn licks .while I think what I'm going to do next. Cars Guitars and Garages..yeah baby !!
There was an episode of Roadkill and a later Roadkill Extra that told a similar story where the AAA guy on the phone works real hard not to tow you. I think there was at least a three hour delay there too.
You can move into my garage in Canada. It can almost fit four cars and quite a few bikes to the sides, haha. Only a few thousand miles out of the way though. You can work on my Supras, lol. Anyways, love the videos. Your channel is growing fast and soon will grow exponentially faster with the quality content you have been putting out.
So Cali doen't offer special registration for race cars? Here in Oregon there are options to get plates to make special purpose and race cars drivable on the street with restrictions.
Any day your beautiful face is on my screen is a great day and I'm man enough to say I'm learning by watching your skills. Keep up the great work. I wish you nothing but success in your future. Bless
Hey Emelia, not sure if someone has mentioned to you before that if you put a battery isolator on your battery you won't have to remove it from the battery terminal every time you want to turn your battery off, similar to the one in the link below. They are cheap and easy to install. www.jaycar.com.au/high-quality-500a-battery-isolation-switch/p/SF2245
Congrats on the new (temporary) shop. Whose drums in your workspace? Please don't tell me you play the drums too. That would be too much cool stuff all in one chick. Thanks.
I really enjoy the content, that's no lie. Always looking forward to the next video. I'm E-Crew for sure! But hey, what's that outro song/instrumental though? Anyone?
Emelia one of my coworkers is a huge fan of yours and we live in your area so I'll probably see you tomorrow at Irwindale. I hope your in a good mood because I'd like to take a pic with you to show him, he's not coming cause he wants to stay home and get drunk...

Totally devoted no matter what! AAA has never been smooth for me. What a nightmare. Glad the 240 is at the new shop.
I miss Willow Springs. I used to live in Rosamond. Great track to get your feet wet in racing at. Oh and I'd be canceling AAA.
