Hey Anton, Thanks! Glad you like the tutorial! Please reach out and send me an email at dusan@howtorhino.com if you're interested and I'll tell you a lot more about it there and share the course platform with you as well! Cheers! :)
Hi i am facing one problem, you have geometry panel after filter, but i do not have. can you tell me plugin and another way, i will be very thankful to you.
This is amazing, and i am working on it, but i do not have Directaddgeometry panel in grasshopper, can you tell us, how to add this , i will be very thankful to you .
Thank you ! great video ! But I have one question ! Originally in Revit's object have information of materials. But the object that transported Rhino to Revit don't have any information isn't it ??
Awsome workflow! Now, a question: once you've imported the direct shape, you can change it to other category, like wall or structure, and get all the BIM data... like plans, costs, and so on??? Thnks a lot, man!
Really interesting add on for revit ! It would be great to see a tutorial on how grasshopper can replace dynamo (if it's possible) for making a curtain wall with panel families, like the "Al Bahar tower". Thanks for the video

Hi Huzefa, great question. To give you a simple answer, yes, you can work only in Rhino instead. Rhino and Revit are not the same programs. Revit is BIM software which means that it can pull various properties and criteria from the whole building, like wall type, door type, window type etc, so Revit is very good for construction phase of a project because it has very good documentation tools. Rhino on the other hand also has some of those capabilities with a use of external plugins like VisualARQ, but Rhino is primarily used for conceptual stage of architectural project, developing ideas, sketches, diagrams, renderings, animations and similar and it allows you to create parametric geometry as well with Grasshopper and much much more. Does it make sense? :D
@@HowtoRhino Yeah, It make sense but can you do a small project in grasshopper + revit and show us from conceptual to Good for construction drawing. Thanks Dusan, for amazing content we learnt alot from your videos. 😊
is it possible to live edit the grasshopper geometry and send it back to rhino, and viceversa? for example, if i change the slop of the roof to 2% in Rhino, would it automatically update the revit System family?
Very nice video. Currently I am working on my master thesis and I need help with grasshopper stuff. Is it possible something that I can get help if I choose patreon membership?? Thankyou so much for videos.

Rhino have a great connection with Archicad, what are you saying in this video is just to bring Grasshopper functionality to Revit instead of using it's native Dynamo which a lot of designers don't like. These stuff always bring benefits to users but for my workflow it effects nothing literally.
@@HowtoRhino btw your tutorials are wonderful. I really hope one day you can make a real professional paid course covering some tricks and how to be efficient in modeling. There will be too much people like me will appreciate that

Thanks for your comment! We will definitely do more of those in the future :)

Thanks! Glad you like Rhino Inside, there will be more of these for sure :D This tool is simply incredible
Can I do this with rhino 6 without updating to WIP rhino 7

Keen to see more on this
Cool, thanks for letting us know Colby! :D
please add more info fo this topic ...thanks
Great Video!! Please make some videos to detail rebars in RCC Column/Slab/Beam from Grasshopper .. Or let us know about material . Thanks!!
Thanks for the suggestions Nishan!
So cool! I would like to know: What is diference between Rhino Inside and Rhino7?
Rhino Inside is a part of Rhino 7. It allows you to have a "bridge" between Revit and Rhino/Grasshopper and vice versa.
Does anyone know why I cannot find the Geometry command in Grasshopper? Or has it changed since the video was created.
Awsome workflow! Now, a question: once you've imported the direct shape, you can change it to other category, like wall or structure, and get all the BIM data... like plans, costs, and so on??? Thnks a lot, man!
Hi Ariel,
Yes, you can, it's all interconnected. They are still developing this integration, but it's really promising.

How do i update Revit Curtain Grid and Revit Curtain Panels via Rhino.inside?
interesting. this is a big step from McNeel. Can you add materials to the imported geometry from rhino in revit?
It is! Yes, it's possible, we'll create something like that in one of the future tutorials :D

HELLO which plugin is better for revit? dynamo or rhino?
Rhino is not a plugin, it's a complete software package for 3D modeling. Dynamo is a plugin for Revit
Rhino have a great connection with Archicad, what are you saying in this video is just to bring Grasshopper functionality to Revit instead of using it's native Dynamo which a lot of designers don't like.
