The sundubu (blood sausage) tastes great if you dip it in the tteokbokki sauce. There is also a sundubu guk bap (soup). Korea does soups and stews well. I hope you have a great trip! The yellow banchan you pointed at is pickled radish. It is a great palate cleanser after rich dishes like jajangmyeon (a very popular Chinese Korean noodle dish). If you rent a hanbok (Korean traditional dress) you will get free admission to the palaces.
Ohh wow..thank you. I wish I dipped the Sundubu in the Tteokbokki sauce , that would have been amazing , my taste buds would have thanked me 😂🤤.Good to know about the Banchan. We didn't have Sim cards / wifi at that time so couldn't translate or Google search .
@@oyinchecksin You're welcome. I hear African accents. I have heard Kdramas are quite popular in some African countries - believe South Africa and possibly Nigeria. Was it Kdramas that brought you to Korea? Some Korea foods to try: Mul Naengmyun (cold noodles with broth) There is also a version with sauce. Gamjatang (pork bone soup) Jokbal (braised pig trotters) Haemul jeon (seafood pancake) - you may have had it in your video Kalguksu (hand cut noodles) Korean fried chicken The list could go on....
@@oyinchecksin I am Korean Canadian (born there, raised in Toronto). There are good Korean restaurants in Toronto, but it will be much cheaper and better quality in Korea.
