- Join me for a day of cleaning and redecorating. The pumpkins are gone and I want a clean slate before adding all the Christmas decor. I am excited to show you some recent antique store finds and how I styled them in a simplistic way. #slowliving #minimalisticstyle #primitive

Thankyou Tammy for another wonderful, enjoyable & refreshing video. Your primitive decorating style looks beautiful & enjoyed the story of your grandparents.

@@JanaAndrews-v2n Thank you so much 😊
Such a enjoyable video. I love how you live and how you think about life. Your right things many years ago were a little more relaxed. I love old things and yes it makes you wonder who had it and where it came from. Thank you for what you do ❤❤
@@EileenManes Thank you Eileen! That means so much to me. ❤️❤️❤️
I love your thoughts on simple living. And thoroughly enjoyed hearing about your Grandma and PawPaw 🖤

@@susanconnell4519 Thank you so very much Susan for your kind words! That means so much to me! 🤍🤍🤍 I’m so glad you enjoyed it!
What a perfectly decorated home. It’s so peaceful and warm and cozy. I have one rather small dough bowl. I have never seen large ones anywhere. Obviously you took them all😊😊 They are beautiful!! I’m anxious to see what Christmas looks like in your prairie home. And yes, God is good.
@@sarabrunsvold2461 Oh, thank you, Sara! Lol, yes, I take all that I see! 😂 I am ready to get started with Christmas decor. Absolutely, 🙌🏼
My friend and I were literally just saying the exact thing about old shoes when we went antiquing the other day. It's crazy how small and narrow old shoes are. Love all of your antique finds! 💙
@@sweetcreekcottage It is!!! I just can’t picture the feet that would fit! 😅 Thank you, friend!!! ❤️
I’m with you on loving the old pieces. Dings, dents and patina are what brings me great joy! I always said I was planted in the wrong era, lol. I love the goodies you snagged today, good ones all! Your grandparents lived the good life for sure and I think it would be a good thing to get back to that way of living! I can imagine a large long bird condo above the tv cabinet and it would fill up the space year round… just a thought. Everything looks divine! ❤
@@cindyclark9145 Thank you so much Cindy! Yes, me too! 😁❤️
@ my pleasure always!
Perfect everything looks great !
@@Jennlovesstitching Thank you! 😊 I appreciate it sooo much!!
Everything looks beautiful as always. I'm finally all done except for the tree. it's so much fun to do mine and then look at others !
@@lydiesmom2815 Thank you! Oh how wonderful! I’m sure it’s so beautiful! I am the same way!
Wonderful video I love the new pieces you bought. Your home looks beautiful Tammie💕
@@deborah3055 Thank you so so much!! I appreciate that, Deborah! ❤️
Loved all of your new finds ❤ the blue barrel is so beautiful. I love wooden bowls too… one of my weaknesses. I think you got a fair price on the candle mold. They are really hard to come by. I have an old one and a replica of an old one. I love them both. I’m all decorated for Christmas 🎄. It was really warm here in Massachusetts last weekend so I put my 3’ Christmas trees and bows in my window boxes and I guess I got the bug to start the rest, so I’m all done. Now I can relax and enjoy! ☺️ Have a wonderful weekend 💕
@@dellahayden5606 Thank you so much!! Oh, it all sounds so wonderful! I am ready to get started, too! 🎄
Thank you so much for this wonderful video and I would’ve bought that blue barrel/nail keg in a short second too. I love it so much. I have many of them but not a blue one. I also have & can’t even count how many wooden round bowls, oblong dough bowls and dough boxes in my house. In fact, I have 15 wooden round bowls stacked together And it is a beautiful display. I love your decorating and your ideas.💞
@@sheilalovesgreg3489 Thank you, Sheila! Oh I can just picture all your beautiful bowls and boxes! The two things I can’t hardly pass up are dough bowls and baskets. 😁
@@sheilalovesgreg3489 That reminds me, if you are on Instagram A Primitive Place Magazine shared a video of a lady that lives in Longview, Tx sharing her home and I was blown away by the scale of all her primitives. It was like primitive heaven, but everything was massive! I’ve never seen such big beautiful painted primitives. You’ve got to see it! 😁
@@ourprairiefarmhouse8987 unfortunately I’m not on Instagram or Facebook so I don’t get to see this but I appreciate you giving me the advice to watch it
Beautiful home. That was not a bad price for the candle mold.
@@Kathleen-rw8iy Thank you!! 😊 Oh, Yayy! I wasn’t sure what they go for.
It’s so funny you bring up how narrow the shoes were and the answer to that is NO most peoples feet were not that narrow and sadly I have family members who wore such things and that attributed to their foot surgeries as we call there issues hammer toes from being shoved in shoes that were too small. I am so relieved that shoes are not made like they were back then. I love watching your videos since I am not on IG anymore - it’s nice to still connect with some of my favorites from IG !!
@@ycannon100 Oh wow! That is crazy! Such a good point! I’m definitely glad we don’t have to squish our feet into shoes anymore! It’s just amazing the things people put themselves through. Corsets are something else I’m sure glad we missed out on! 😂 … I’m so glad to be able to connect with you, here. ❤️
Votre maison est magnifique, du Québec Canada
@@marie-joseelapointe4406 Thank you so much! It’s nice to have you joining me from Québec Canada.
I use real trees and put them up mid November. I can attest to the fact that it will indeed last to the new year.
@@rhiannancaraway Oh wow! What kind of trees do you use and do you do any special care. I can never get one to last that long, although last year’s tree didn’t dry out like others that Ive had. It was a type of fir tree.
