  • In this video, Dynamo will be used to import Excel coordinates to Revit creating a curve in the Revit adaptive family environment.
Some of the Dynamo nodes that will be used are:
    - ReferencePoint.ByPoint
    - CurveByPoints.ByReferencePoints
    - List.Get.ItemAtIndex
    - ListRemoveItemAtIndex
    - Data.ImportExcel
    - File From Path

    Hi EB,
Thank you for another helpful video. I have been trying to develop the same workflow to create a parametric bridge that will dynamically respond to changes made to an alignment. You happened to mention that we can later create a bridge or retaining wall form this workflow. can we expect a follow up video that shows how to do that?? Hoping so. 🤞

      Hi EL,
      Thank you 😀
Next bridge video is coming on Monday, it will be voids in a bridge superstructure. In each bridge video I will expand and add techniques to solve the different problems. I am now editing a bridge video about box girder with varying thickness. The import Excel coordinates with Dynamo video will be the foundation for my 3 video advanced adaptive retaining wall tutorials. Expected to come in the fall sometimes. But, if you have a bridge or a problem you are sitting with right now I might be able to help you, just send me an E-mail with what you got so far ☺

@@EngineerBear90 . I am looking forward. This has me really excited.
I do not have anything done so far with this workflow. I had been exploring other workflows to try and find the most efficient one. This workflow has only been an possibility until now. I previously had no idea where to start because of my unfamiliarity with Dynamo. But this video has really shed some light.
